    Welcome,

i am currently testing the micasaverde VeraLite system, to start with I decided to pair this with a Danfoss Living Connect thermostatic head. The process itself went without any problems and the head responds to commands, however I don't think it works 100%, the first issue is that it doesn't read the current temperature (always "0")and the second is the on/off heating light. I don't know if this is the way it is supposed to be or if I still have to paste in something on foot ? the software in the heads is SW 2.51

The Danfoss head in the system does not show the current temperature only the temperature value to be in the room (with a relatively large error of +-1st). The on/off switch in the UI does not work either (software issue in vera).
If you want to regulate the temperature from the sensor you have to use a separate device e.g. Everspring ST814. Please note that at the moment the VERA soft does not support floating point numbers so the temperature control logic is severely limited (a new UI is reportedly being developed which will use commas).
I have been using the VERA system with Z-WAVE nodes (from various manufacturers) for a long time and so far (apart from the aforementioned floating point problem) everything works OK.

I am just testing the Stella Z head, this one has an outside temperature reading but the Vera shows a bunch of buttons that are not used :) i.e. cooling and on/off.

    Hello

I have an identical one and a VERA lite controller.
Have you perhaps managed to solve the communication problem with them?
Danfoss paired me with the controller shows the temperature but I can't do anything through the software, it shows some communication error. On the head the bell and the connection icon flashes.
Stella on the other hand shows all these icons like yours and doesn't respond to commands either.

It occurred to me that Since not everything is working 100% for you then you have a communication problem with the thermostat. That's what I have. On the sticker I have it working fine.
The controller sees the heads but I can't through the software set anything. Can you tell how you paired the heads with the controller? Because I think this is the problem here

Everything works 100% for me, I just "thought" that you could read the temperature from the head sensor, but the manufacturer did not provide this for this model, the Stella-Z instead has this possibility. To add the head you have to remove it first, that's the trick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=yXqFmBvhigQ listen clearly to what the guy says from 6:56

    ok thanks a lot.
I think I managed it yesterday. It seems to be working. I'm going to test it out.
I will also add a stelle today to see how it hula.

supposedly this danfoss is added, I do everything like this guy.
I see it on the controller on the website.
I set a scene of some kind and the temperature changes on the display and the heater doesn't change temperature. I don't get it.
Maybe at Christmas I'll check something else out, or I'll wait for a friend who has a head like this to help me out
    Merry Christmas

The question is did you first remove this device before adding it ? are you sure you have a Z-Wave head ? this is exactly the symptom when the head is not in Z-Wave

The head works. Everything is already ok.
With the stella I still have a problem, but I don't know if it's not a problem sometimes with the physical connection to the radiator. I will keep trying.
Thanks for your help in any case.
