    Hello,

Since yesterday, I have been the owner of the Dolce Gusto 1006 coffee machine and I have such a problem - the first time I used the coffee machine, it only hummed, i.e. it was audible that it was working, but no water was consumed. Now, when you turn it on, you do not even hear that it works, only the diode is on - when turned on, it flashes red, after 30 seconds it turns on green - which is probably ok? The coffee machine is supposed to be warm, that is, as if the heater was working, but neither the water heats up, nor is it consumed. What could be wrong?

Maybe there is air in it? You would have to help him and push the water with a syringe after disassembling the coffee machine ..

Is it a new or used coffee machine?

Before you take it apart, I'd try to give it a guarantee ;) - Smarter way ..

    Hello
I have the same problem, only the machine is after the warranty. When I attached a syringe to the tube, I thought it was air-poisoned, and I injected water, it went - both heated and cold. As soon as I put the tank on, it's nothing - no reaction. The espresso "does not hum". I removed the phoenix-50 b2p pump, I thought that I would discover something but nothing. How to check if the pump is working and whether the capsule container really has to be inserted for the pump to work?
And one more question: Two metal sleeves and one plastic fell out of the pump. Should they be arranged in the same order as in the picture ??

Yes, without a "container" for capsules, the pump will not start ..
Connect the pump to 220V, you should hear its loud operation.
The sleeves are correctly positioned. Connect the pump and check if it is humming.
It will probably buzz .. ;)
So when the pump is operational, take a picture of the inside of the coffee machine and I will explain to you two simple methods for repairing the equipment ..

I warmly welcome! I do not know how a colleague upstairs wants to assess the efficiency of the pump after "hum"? Take it out of the coffee machine, connect it with a power cable with connectors for 230 variable power supply, take two hoses, look at the direction of water flow, connect and see the effect. Or look at the magnetic water sensor, put the magnet to it, detach the pom pom from the circuit and check it. Greetings!

I had the same situation. The pump is working, but no water is flowing. After disassembling, I only made sure that the wires and the needle were not obstructed. I used a 50 ml syringe. I used Teflon tape as an adapter. First, however, "dry" I pushed the remnants of the water that was in the hose supplying the pump. Something gurgled. Then I connected the full syringe already. ... And everything moved. Prophylactic descaling and cleaning. Great coffee ...

    Hello,

it's the same for me. suddenly the coffeemaker stopped working and did not start, even though I undressed the whole thing and blown it with compressed air.
I did not do one - I did not pour water on the pump and the question is is it necessary? I assume new equipment from the store that the inside is 100% dry without any liquids?

the needle itself - should it slide out or is it fixed / stationary?
    I rather have option 2.
The machine is 3 years old, used from case to case. I will be happy to fix it, if not, unfortunately, in the garbage can :( .

    can you do anything?

PS. after turning on it heats up and buzzes, in my opinion something is clogged. I cleaned the needle with a pin.

It seems to me that "flooding" alone may not help. I would have to fit a syringe to the suction hose from the pump. When the pump hums the syringe, you need to push the water under pressure. When it clicks, you need to quickly turn off the pump so that it does not suck in air again

okay, I'll do it, I'll try.

    What about that needle?

The needle is integrated into the module and is stationary

I use my coffee machine every few months or even every few years and airing is a standard. I did not use syringes because sealing such a system and looking for a syringe is a bit of a chore. The easiest way is to pump the water with the reservoir - you have to take it off and put it in many times - you will see floating air bubbles in the water, and if someone has already removed the part of the casing from the pump side, you will see how the water level in the hose gradually rises - when it is slightly above the halfway point between the tank and the pump, you can start the coffee machine and the pump should draw after a dozen or so seconds - it helped me so much.

    Hello dear forum members.
I thought that I would also add my 5 cents to the topic.
I had a similar symptom myself. Express was humming but did not pick up any water.

I made a solution that has popped up here several times.
Namely, fill the container with water, it does not have to be full. Then many times, really many times from 30-40 times I raised it to a height of 2 cm and lowered it. Each time I saw bubbles coming, i.e. the pump flooded inside with water. After a dozen or so times the attempt, the water gently leaked, so I knew it was close, I picked it up several times and then another attempt and it sucked.

After that, I personally conclude that if the express has a break of several months, it will announce itself. It's even normal for me, the water from the pipes will dry up and you need to bleed it.

I would like to thank those people who throw up such cool, meaningful and working solutions here.

I confirm the effectiveness of this patent!
My friend spared me disassembling the contraption :)
    Thanks a lot!

Previous comments and hints were very useful. In my case, after such venting, you could hear the pump filling up and it started to work quieter. The water still didn't fly. Straightening the needle sticking into the capsule helped. I used a 0.4mm rod for inserting nozzles for 3D printing. You have to be careful after the hot water bursts. Better to wait a while.

I also confirm that the patent with the tank works

Topic summary

The Dolce Gusto Krups 1006 Piccolo coffee machine is experiencing issues where it does not consume water and fails to function properly. Users suggest potential causes such as air trapped in the system, which can be resolved by using a syringe to push water through the pump. It is recommended to check if the capsule container is properly inserted, as the pump will not operate without it. Some users have successfully resolved similar issues by repeatedly raising and lowering the water tank to release air bubbles, while others have disassembled the machine to inspect the pump and needle for blockages. Regular maintenance, including descaling and cleaning, is advised to prevent such problems.
