    Hello,
I hope that I put the topic in the right section, if not, please move it. Namely, I mean that I will now be attending the 2nd grade of the Secondary School and I want to take up general and car electrics as a hobby. I have read a lot of topics and people recommended books for "beginners" there, but you had to know the basic concepts in all of them. And it is known that if someone does not know what a mass is, he will not learn from them. If anyone knew some interesting reading, where everything will be written from a complete scratch, as if someone had never had contact with an electrician, I would be grateful ;) It is known that I do not want to be an outstanding expert right away, but I would just like to know how to make simple systems, repair electronic faults in a motorbike, etc. Things needed in life ;)

    Regards

First of all, you need to have a knack :D I don't know what that means but I have it :D Seriously, maybe instead of reading a book, you can browse forums.
When it comes to electrics as such at home, i.e. playing with 230V, I do not know if the books will teach you something more, they will support you in developing your knowledge or in some case they will tell you something. My friends taught me, but I had this talent for it :D
And a bit recently, I have come across to broaden my knowledge of car audio, and therefore I browse a bit of forums on this subject and also watch videos on YouTube. Yes, it is enough for an amateur. There is a lot of knowledge on the Internet, only the time needed to read it is needed. And reading and acquiring knowledge is not enough, you still need to experiment a bit, that is, combine theories with practice.
When it comes to cars, I do not know how you have it, but I do not have the conditions, but you can buy it ..... and put it in the yard and rummage in it, you will spoil it, but you will not regret it. You will spend PLN 500 and they will give you PLN 100 on scrap, so you will spend PLN 400 on learning car electrics. Car practice and net theory and fun :D
So my advice is forums and forums. I am not an opponent of books, but good morning there is a lot of knowledge on the Internet. Sometimes you can print something out and create your own help base, diagrams, instructions, etc.

You can look for high school textbooks, such as: fundamentals of electrical engineering.

Unfortunately, these are quite difficult to read books (the theory itself, you don't want to read it quite quickly), but rather readily written, and unfortunately, to be able to think about anything else, you first need to understand the whole theory of circuits.

When it comes to electrics, it is worth starting with " bezel "I think it's got everything an intermediate electrician needs to know.

Look for the channel Theory of Electrical Engineering on youtube, he should help you ;) and every week I post new content and try to respond to viewers' requests. So if you have any question or you don't understand something, I will try to explain or prepare a video about it.
