Hello. Does anyone know any websites or books where the general structure of the car is described, the principles of operation of individual elements, and the basic issues of vehicle mechanics?
I was looking for, but I found nothing specific, so I am asking for help.

When it comes to books, WKŁ has a series of manuals for vehicle technicians.

Regarding the websites, KOWEZiU made e-learning courses in various industries a few years ago.
Here is a link to courses in the mechanical industry. Look for the names that interest you. You log in as a GUEST and can use the resources. There are always downloadable PDF files with teaching material.

I don't know about you, but I use such websites a lot and it is e-learning, for me it is the best method of learning and somehow I acquire knowledge much better in this way than just by reading books that are hard to understand, or boring lectures

Hm .. For me, the best method is practice. I will acquire some knowledge and if it is warm, maybe I will start rummaging in cars with my uncle.
But that's right. Pages like this are so much better than books. Sometimes written in simpler and more concise language.

Hello. In my opinion, at the beginning there is good literature in "Diagnostics of passenger cars" by K. Trzeciak. The book is written in very simple language. Another well-known book where you have the basics of component operation, ie "Driver's Manual". Maybe it's funny but there it is explained in plain language. You can get the book in an antiquarian book because it was published around 1960. I started with her when I was still in primary school. Greetings.
