    Dear forumers,

i am trying to make my house more intelligent, on my own. For this purpose I am looking for sensors and actuators. However, I am interested in a fairly high level of integration, namely the ability to control on an electrical/electronic level or (very desirable) with an IP interface. That is, I don't care, what's more I would probably mind if the components belonged to some other system - e.g. some small wireless systems controlled from a remote control.
I would like to receive signals and control the actuators by short-circuiting/uncoupling contacts, or by voltage levels (or more complex signals, e.g. PWM).
As I have not been exposed to specific market products before, please recommend any companies/wholesalers that offer such devices.
    Specifically, I am interested in:
    - primarily residual current and overcurrent protection with electronic on/off capability,
    - smoke detectors, movement detectors, presence detectors (I understand that any detector with NO or NC contacts is sufficient for this),
    - radiator valves (I'm guessing these are not solenoid valves),
    - thermostats (able to set the temperature, but not connected directly to the radiator valves),
    - window sensors (reed switches).

I am of course happy to look at any recommended automation devices.
Thank you in advance for your help.
