    Hello, I am writing a study on home automation systems. The system is supposed to fit into a budget of 5 thousand PLN. I have to make as if three proposals: wireless, wired (dedicated system) and wired on some controller.
    Assumptions:
    Controlling lights in 3 rooms (3 circuits);
    Control of roller shutters - 3pcs;
    Window/door opening sensor (series connected reed switches - price:/);
    + The possibility of creating an appropriate scene that simulates the presence of household members.
    As I was learning about LCN, I sketched myself a simple schematic, but after counting the UPP relays alone, it came out over budget;/ Therefore, I ask you, could you recommend any dedicated wired system?

    Very good site, I wonder why I didn't come across it earlier. I was interested in the Indys system from Poznan (the price is knock-down) but zero contact with the company.

    For such applications, I use Zipato controllers supporting multiple technologies (KNX, ZigBee, Z-Wave, X10...). This controller can be used for a wired system (KNX) and for a wireless system (other technologies. You can always choose a solution from this that will not be too expensive and will probably fit into your budget).
