Hi. I would like to connect my car radio (panasonic cq-c1323ne) to a regular socket at home. I think that I would be able to deal with the speakers in this matter, but I have a problem with the power supply. What do I have to do for the radio to work properly? ;]

YOU need to purchase a 12-14 V power supply (preferably a stabilized ;) , providing a direct current of 3-5 A. It will ensure the operation of the receiver with sufficient volume for the home.

    You need a power adapter.
From home 'treasures' you can use a rectifier or a computer power supply.
Or some kind of transformer gouged out of old junk, of course with the right power and voltage.
Or Allegro, transformer PLN 40 with shipping. + rectifier bridge about PLN 7 with shipping.

The power supply from the old PC is the cheapest and the easiest.

And what would you say about the power supply from the TV set (e.g. digital modem polsat)? :D He's got a 12V I think.

And you can not explain more precisely what to connect to the radio in the power supply? What cable for which? Which cable for which ankle and in which place?

You connect green from the power supply with one of the black ones, then another black from the power supply connects to black from the radio, yellow from the power supply connects to yellow and red from the radio ... :)

Man, this topic will end up in the bin, I wrote to you as a 5-year-old what to connect with ... Maybe you will still ask how to connect the speakers to this radio ?? I understand that you can be "green" in electronics, but to read with understanding, they rather teach in elementary school, so now you should be able to do it in middle school, a bit of your own invention would also do no harm, because if you looked well, there would be a list of radio wires, you would even use a google translator and you would know what to combine with what ...

It's such a fashion today - I take photos / make scans, I put them in the post, asking how to combine it and that's it. Why look, after all, no one has ever connected the radio to the power supply.

Sorry that I am asking about your topic, but I do not want to open a new one, as we are already at computer power supplies. Why if I connect a 12V 60W bulb, i.e. 5A to the yellow and black cable, the bulb only flashes and the power supply turns off?
    The power supply says + 12V 17A

A cold light bulb overloads the power supply because its resistance is much lower. Rated 5A current flows only after warming up.

Thanks mate for the answer. And something could be done to keep him from turning off?

See if the power supply starts with the bulb connected. If not, then you need to use some soft start system.

Topic summary

To power a Panasonic CQ-C1323NE car radio at home, a 12-14 V power supply providing 3-5 A of direct current is required. Users can repurpose an old computer power supply, which is the most cost-effective solution. The yellow wire from the power supply connects to the radio's yellow and red wires, while a black wire connects to the radio's black wire. Additionally, two pins on the power supply's motherboard must be shorted to activate it. Other potential power sources include rectifiers or transformers from old electronics. Users have also discussed issues related to connecting bulbs to power supplies and the need for soft start systems to prevent overloads.
