Hello. I would like to know what the amperage is in the cigarette lighter socket (because the voltage is supposedly 12V), I need to buy a power supply and want to connect the CB-Radio at home, but I do not know what amperage to give it, and I do not have how to measure the amperage in the car. Could someone tell me?

See how many amps the fuse has in the car (from the lighter), and as for the CB, it should write on it what power it has, or what the fuse is with it.

And someone knows how many amps it is, because there are probably the same in every car. And the fuse probably recognizes only the peak value and not the average or typical there.

You don't understand the basics. First, no electricity flows without a load. Secondly, the receiver draws its own current, depending on its resistance or its needs, if it is an electronic device. Any current, even 100A, can be drawn from the car socket, but then the fuse will blow. Again, the voltage source does not force a specific current in any way. It is the receiver that decides how many amps it will take from a given voltage. You should be interested in how much current your CB radio takes, so that you know what current efficiency the power supply must have. For example, if you were to connect a CB that takes 3A to a 12V power supply with an allowable load of 500mA, the power supply would probably burn out. But if you had plugged this CB into a 20A 12V power supply then everything would work as it should ;)
