In theory, it is not possible to extract such functionality from every [smart home] automation system. It is a matter of adjusting to your needs and specialisation of a given system in terms of heating. Describe what you specifically need and maybe I will be able to find something suitable [although I will choose only from Polish solutions and note that I do not know these solutions from the practical side].

Delta Dore. They have been making wireless thermostats for years and have recently entered the Polish market with their X3D wireless home automation system.
To put together a remote control for heating, we need the following components:

    - TYBOX 4110 - a set consisting of a wireless wall-mounted thermostat and a receiver. Cost: 510 net catalogue. http://deltadore.idsl.pl/pliki/domotyka/tybox_4110.pdf

    - TYDOM 2000 - a LAN-connected mobile device control unit. Free iOS and Android apps available. Cost approx. 1100 net catalogue. http://www.deltadore.com/poland/pl/produkty-dystrybucji-profesjonalnej/tydom-2000.html

    - The Raspberry Pi - TYDOM 2000 control panel complements the wall panel on which the average user configures calendars or scenarios. The wall panel is not needed by the electrode user, for whom a raspberry + a few minutes with wireshark ;) is sufficient

If we do not have internet at home, remote access can be set up using a GSM interface (TYDOM 315). http://deltadore.idsl.pl/pliki/domotyka/tydom315.pdf
Each component of the system (except for the raspberry) comes with a 5-year manufacturer's guarantee. They have their own encrypted radio protocol (868 MHz), which has been developed for some 20 years.

If you are looking for tried and tested but cheaper solutions, you can use an inexpensive programmable logic controller (PLC) with easy programming + modules for wireless communication:

The receivers have relays with momentary (monostable) or permanent (bistable) hold on the output. You can therefore control everything binary 0 - 1 (valves, heaters, lighting, ventilation, etc.). On the other hand, for analogue signal transmission, our company has tested RS232 radio controllers, which can also communicate with cheaper PLCs.

Alternatively, we also have GSM modules on offer (around £250 gross), where you control devices directly from your mobile phone (calling or SMS). It all depends on your budget - as you can see, you can also fit in low costs.
