Welcome,
I am thinking of upgrading my central heating system - i.e. introducing simple automation. The problem I have is the following: a Vaillant ecotec plus cooker together with a simple colormatic indoor controller. The controller is rather unfortunate in that it is located not only above the underfloor heating but also close to the fireplace. The result is a temperature difference between the bottom and the top of the house. The temperature downstairs is set at 21.5 in the rooms upstairs at 18. Lighting the fireplace misses the point, because in the morning the cooker doesn't switch on
.
What I would like to achieve - I confess I am not familiar with this (more related to medical topics):
- the ability to separate the heating of the top of the house and the bottom of the house - so that the rooms upstairs are heated at night, while keeping the temperature downstairs lower.
- it would be nice if the temperature in the individual rooms could be controlled from a single panel (smartphone, tablet)
I know there is something like fibaro, but I don't need "future-proof automation"
. There is something like danfoss living connect - but how to configure it
On each level (downstairs, mezzanine and first floor) I have boxes distributing water to radiators. In two (downstairs and mezzanine) in addition I have underfloor water heating.
Could any of you Dear Forumers suggest a solution? I.e. what I would need to purchase (what components) to enjoy more precise heating control. To be honest, I have been trying to search for something for quite some time - but the subject of solenoid valves, circuits etc is completely alien to me. I've also written to several companies asking for a quote for such an installation - I've received the answer - "once the installer specifies what it should be, we'll adapt our equipment to his requirements" - the problem is precisely that I don't know what is to be....
I would be happy to provide additional information if needed.
Regards
