Hello!
I would like an answer to the following question: can a microwave motion detector be installed in a room? To a question edited in this way there is of course the answer "Yes, you can!" but I am concerned with something else. Well, there are two exits from this room. One leads to the terrace and the other to the inside of the house. My idea is to switch off the unnecessary light when going out onto the terrace and switch it back on when returning to the room (the light switch is located closer to the centre of the house). However, I would also like the light to stay on continuously when people are in the room. The second question is how to effectively screen the detector, so that the detector control is not affected by people's movements on the upper floor (it is a suspended NidaGypsum ceiling and a floor on joists on the other side). Well, and I wouldn't want to spend a fortune....
