    Hi,

There was a little accident in my house recently and the wall lamp fell into pieces.
I am a very beginner DIYer but decided to fix it myself.

The last thing left for me to do is properly plug in the threaded e14 bulb holder (as pictured below).

Could you, like a cow on the border, describe where to install the brown and blue wires that protrude from the lamp?

There are 4 places where I can plug the cables. I tried a few combinations, but it blows up the plugs (I even made a short circuit once and something blew up :D ).

Thanks in advance for any help.

As mains light bulbs do not have polarity, it doesn't matter how you connect the cables. However, good school says (teaches) that the "phase" (brown) cable should be connected to the lower bulb contact, and the neutral to the threaded contact. For the future, I advise you to buy a multimeter with circuit continuity detection. Thanks to this, you will find out when you want to connect something or sometimes you will not make a short circuit.

And the connection of the wires - it's probably clear ...

I think the illustration will explain how to connect. REMEMBER THAT ELECTRICITY KILLS! so if you cannot take care of safety, do not touch the electrical system and have it repaired by someone with qualifications.
