When I saw how electrical installations in England are made for the first time, I was shocked :)

You connect the red wires together, the two black wires with the blue ones, and the black wires with the brown ones.
Before doing so, check the connection in the ankle.
Why do you want to change the cube?

Probably not the change of the cube itself, but the change of the frame.
My friend also forgot about the most important of the cables marked with green and yellow.
This is how connections are now made

and they must look the same after replacing the fitting, regardless of what "cube" you use.

    And the most important!
Turn off the voltage in the circuit.
    The red veins are phase.

I dare to notice that the drawing describes the installation for one normal switch, not for 2 stairs.

The figure shows what it shows and the rest of the connections are made in boxes under the fittings.
And the construction of these "cans" in fittings is always the same.
Phase, neutral and "return" from the circuit breaker / breakers.
