    Hello.

I have heard that in England there are different standards and methods of installation.

    It surprised me a lot :| .

Could any of you explain to me any differences between the installations performed in Poland?

Some links on this subject are also useful.

Unfortunately, I do not know why, but the ectrode search engine did not work for me  .

    Thank you for any help.

    Regards

First of all, the types of plugs and sockets are different - the English version with flat pins in the plug and often with fuses in the plug housing .....

    Thanks for the answer.

But I mean something a little different.

The types of plugs and sockets do not have any influence on the standards of electrical installations.

But are there any other ways to do the installation ??

Any rules other than in Poland ??

    Regards.

The dots are flying to you :) .

    thank you very much.

It is a pity that these pages are in English  .

Do you know any Polish ones?
    Whatever.

I've been looking in googles for a long time.

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything in Polish  .

First of all, they prefer to connect in the so-called ring.

    Hello

Permissions (basic, for installation) are obtained by passing the City and Guilds 2381 exam (you can enter yourself in google). The exams are organized by the IET (formerly IEE), which is something like our SEP, but covers a wider range of activities (not just an electrician). Their website is www.theiet.org
There is a discussion forum: http://www.theiet.org/forums/forum/

The second useful page is http://groups.msn.com/SparkyHeaven
but here you have to register to see anything.

To view both pages you need to know English, but if you would like to work as an electrician in the UK (I mean a normal job, not a Turkish or Pakistani job for ? 5) then it is essential.

And if you want to find out what the installations look like, you will find out in the most accessible way (many drawings) from this book:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electricians-Building...086341463X/ref=pd_sim_b_3/026-3947932-7955653

Of course, it is too little to pass the exam, but always something, Regards

Topic summary

The discussion focuses on the differences in electrical installation standards and methods between England and Poland. Key differences include the types of plugs and sockets, with England using flat-pin plugs often equipped with fuses. The English installation method favors ring circuits, which differ from Polish practices. For qualifications, electricians in England must pass the City and Guilds 2381 exam, organized by the IET, which is comparable to Poland's SEP. Resources for further information include the IET website and various forums, although most are in English. The user expressed difficulty finding Polish resources on the topic.
