Good evening. I've done some welding in my life .... A few years ago, I also found that such an automatic helmet is comfortable. Not completely .... . I bought such a visor for probably PLN 350, in a hardware store in Bydgoszcz. Chinese crap. Kiev instruction translated into Polish. He writes in it that it is also suitable for welding with an electrode. But after some time of using it, I found that my eyes hurt ...... I started to search and read on the net. By the way, I read that my helmet has a fast response time of 1; 10,000 seconds. But I found such helmets with a response time of 1: 25,000 seconds, but unfortunately these helmets are extremely expensive ...... I believe that the comfort of welding and less pain in the eyes when using it, unfortunately, has the reaction time when the glass is darkened. I find that my eyes hurt when I use a cheap helmet with a response time of 1: 10,000 for a long time. I think that with this response time it can be used for MIGU or TIGU. It is not suitable for an electrode with this response time.

Take a look at aliexpress. I bought a mask for about PLN 100 with shipping. Pretty decent, I welded for several hours non-stop and I can't say anything bad about it.

Exactly like this. At work, I often weld with a tiger, I have a 3m speed light mask or something like that, for PLN 1,200. Apart from the thickness of the plastic and the quality of workmanship, there are no major differences. For home use, the electrode is perfect

I welded it for a few hours and it is fast. It is exchanged, but I did not take spare ones. At the beginning it seemed a bit too bright, but I compared it with this 3m and it turns out that it is even darker by a half, maybe a whole degree. I will add that I weld with a tig every day and at home I tested an electrode with which I am unfamiliar and that's why I thought so. I recommend the seller as in the link. Greetings :-)

I have nothing to do with this quinol, but if you are somewhere near Krakow / Bochnia, come for tests. Surprised me for the price / quality ratio and it looks like the orange county choppers :-)

For me, welders who eat stainless steel all the time use the most ordinary magnum mask, so it's the most ordinary Chinol only with a sticker. Let's not exaggerate with the fact that for one hundred zlotys it is once a month. Look at the covenants, sleep, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Following this line of reasoning, if you weld something several times a month, you should have a fronius or kemppi welder for PLN 15,000. Is this quality, for such money, we need it on a daily basis? This is business equipment.

    Hello
    I'll refresh a little.
What mask did you buy? Because I'm just before buying, but I see that the cheapest MMA helmet is about PLN 300 and this helmet with a line according to the description on aliexpress is not for MMA, the prices of such helmets start from $ 70 plus shipping.
Write what did you buy and for how much?

    greetings

This mask is for all methods. I often use the electrode at home and it works great. I have 3M at work, but I don't see any difference in use. You want it for you. Or when you are in the vicinity of Krakow / Bochnia, come for tests. Greetings

In order not to buy the proverbial pig in a poke, you can either find a welding shop or hobbyists in your area. On behalf of Graphite, I can offer a visit to one of our tool centers, where you will be able to try on and test the performance of the helmet with a response time of 1 / 15000s and 4 / 9-13 DIN (dimmable). It is known that a short test will not replace a few hours of work, but it can always give you at least an idea of what you are facing. ;)

Hello, I'll refresh the topic. I bought such a mask from a friend from the link above. I was a bit worried, card payment, China, etc. After 26 calendar days, it comes to the post office with a parcel, well packed, with a mask inside. Workmanship OK. So for welding (an ordinary bestseller) I welded a total of 65 meters of fencing from scratch, starting from welding to the profiles of the tips. The mask works perfectly, the polish is beautiful, the protective plastic is undamaged. Perfect for home chores, even eyes stinging. The neighbor, seeing this mask, asked me to order him (I ordered the version with Putin, hehe) Summing up, it's worth buying this mask for a few zlotys, and the Aliexpress portal is ok
