    Hello.
I have installed external blinds with electric drive and at each window there is a switch box with a cable for central control. Is it necessary to use a controller in each box in order to maintain the functionality of individual control and central control? I can connect the central control cable in parallel to the switch terminals but then each switch will activate all the roller shutters. Is it possible to separate these types of control somehow?

In a way, you have answered yourself.
You can run cables to a single controller, e.g. a PLC, and use it to control the shutters as required, e.g. in groups, individually, all of them.
You can attach a simple remote-controlled relay system controlled by a computer network, which will allow you to create control from a SCADA-type application or your own software.
