I would like to ask you specialists about the above mentioned system.
I know that in Poland there is Fibaro, KNX and other alternative relatively cheap systems, but none of them have such possibilities as Control4.
In the UK and USA, Control4 is literally in every second house. I know it's a completely different price ratio but also completely different capabilities.
From my observations, only Control4 is a system that has the real ability to integrate Audio-Video to create a full MultiRoom, integration with home entertainment equipment, streaming of network sources, full choice of interfaces, wireless remotes.
Plus smart home functionality, boiler room integration, IP video intercoms and I don't know myself what else.
The market is full of pseudo-smart systems that allow you to call up light scenes, control roller shutters, gates and the coffee machine from the iPad, but I treat this more as a gadget for the nouveau riche than a useful system.
To be clear. i deal with multimedia solutions on a daily basis, I treat the sphere of building automation more as a hobby, but I am interested in opinions on this subject.
I once had contact with this system myself and it was an interesting experience.
