    Hello

    The purpose is to get an average room temperature.
    I have a controller with an input for a 5k NTC sensor. I made up my mind to place 4 NTC 5k sensors in the room ( near the ceiling (1), near the floor(2), on the wall(3) and on the opposite wall(4) )

    The sensors would be connected in this way:
    in series:
    group 1
    - sensor near floor
    - sensor at the ceiling
    group 2
    - probe on wall
    - sensor on opposite wall
    in parallel:
    group 1 and group 2

    From my calculations, the equivalent resistance comes out as the resistance of one sensor and changing the resistance of one 5k NTC sensor by 20% changes the equivalent resistance by about 5%.
    So I get in a simple way an average temperature for the room, where the temperature change at one sensor is averaged with the other 3 sensors

    Please feel free to verify my idea.

    This makes sense - I like :)
    The only difficulty - placement and wiring of detectors;
    Also: failure of any detector will be difficult to verify - there will be a skewed result (most controllers have a verification subroutine - throws a "no sensor" error), and in your system it will simply show a higher/lower temperature.
