Termet Ecocondens 25 Stove: Resolving Error E03 and E16 - Causes and Steps to Reset

Termet Ecocondens 25 stove displays error E03, it can be canceled by turning the knob to reset, the stove will restart, but after a while it displays the same error again. After 30 minutes of doing nothing, the error changes to E16, this can be reset and after a while again E03. I am asking for help where the cause lies.

E03 means overheating. To be checked: pump, filters, temperature sensors.

Provide the exact model of the boiler.

The question is whether the boiler was started and adjusted by the service and on which gas the boiler works. Have you drained the water from the radiators since starting the boiler?

Termet EcoCondens 25 Plus, started and adjusted by an authorized service, natural gas, water from the heating system was not drained.

How long was it regulated? Combustion chamber clean?
If it is freshly adjusted and the combustion chamber is clean, I bet on the exhaust temperature sensor.

The most common cause of damage to the flue gas sensor is the lack or very bad regulation of the boiler (flue gas analysis) or draining water from the central, e.g. repairs, but the most important thing is the proper venting of the exchanger. I have never had a damaged sensor in the boiler from the first Ecocondensa series, in the Crystal yes. The sensor is damaged due to overheating of the exchanger
The repair can be very simple, it is enough to replace the sensor, but the problem is that the manufacturer of the exchanger does not sell the sensors only with the entire exchanger. The same applies to a Vaillant with the same exchanger.
