As the topic. If you replace the batteries with new ones, it is quiet for a few days and it starts flashing again, draining the batteries instantly. It started to happen 2 weeks after cleaning the stove by the service (coincidence?). I read that in WRD-11 stoves (without a display) you can disconnect the diode. Question: can the diode be disconnected in this stove with impunity and in which place (what cable)? At what battery voltage the diode starts flashing, because before that the diode never flashed, and I replaced the batteries when they had 1.27V (it ignited poorly). I will be grateful for any help.

Check all connectors, unfasten and fasten. Check the magazine-driver connection. It is worth strengthening the fixing with an additional sheet metal screw, which is not included in the box at the factory, and thus there is no full electrical contact. Check that there is no moisture in the microswitch or other connections. The battery below 1.3VDC is not suitable for the Junker. Batteries only branded heavy with a higher capacity. Of course, the batteries are inserted in parallel in the same way. In the WRDP term, the diode cannot be disconnected because it is part of the controller ...

Thanks for the quick reply. I did everything as advised. I think the problem is with poor batteries. I bought 2 sets of regular Panasonic and they used up so quickly. I temporarily replaced these batteries (they had 3.7v) with used alkaline ones (only 3.4v) and the diode stopped flashing. I will buy decent batteries and see what's next. I will let you know what is happening over time, maybe someone will need this information.

Always use alkaline batteries with the stove. I have GP (alkaline) batteries in the stove - they were delivered with the stove at the factory and since they were new (the stove was installed at the end of February 2011), they have not been replaced yet. I think Duracell would be good besides GP.

This heater should be powered by two 1.5V batteries connected in parallel, so the supply voltage must not exceed 1.6V. When the device is operational, it works with one battery installed. Regards.

How did you measure this voltage that it came out 3.4 times, other times 3.7VDC. Lux battery can have 1.6 max 1.7 VDC ... Of course, nominally 1.5 VDC ... Batteries for PLN 1.5 are only suitable for children's flashlights.

It is also better to use more expensive batteries for the flashlight, because ordinary ones discharge quickly.

Of course, a mistake in determining the battery voltage, I had to write 1.37V and 1.34V respectively (at the moment it is about 1.34 alkaline and the diode is not blinking). Sorry to mislead you.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Junkers WRDP 11 stove, which exhibits a flashing red LED on the main switch and drains new batteries quickly after cleaning. Users suggest checking all connectors and ensuring proper electrical contact, as well as using high-quality alkaline batteries, such as Duracell or GP, to prevent rapid discharge. The diode in the WRDP 11 cannot be disconnected without potential issues, as it is integral to the controller. The stove operates with two 1.5V batteries connected in parallel, and users emphasize the importance of maintaining battery voltage above 1.3V for optimal performance. One user noted that after replacing poor-quality batteries with used alkaline ones, the flashing stopped, indicating that battery quality is crucial.
