After VID and PID it finds CH340 - not CH341.

There are converters for CH340 to serial.
The link to the drivers is given from a certain store (Polish):
    http://wch-ic.com/download/list.asp?id=126

This link does not work for me.

I have a vag com problem. Drivers from the viaken vag kkl usb website installed for the cable. The cable is k can vag commander 1.4 ports are also set to com2. In the vag com settings, it searches for the port and interface, but if it wants to enter, for example, the engine or immobilizer, it tries to connect and after a while the error "No Response from Controller" pops up. What could it be? VID_0403 PID_6001

k+can vag commander 1.4 and VAG-COM are two different cables, although some functions will work interchangeably. Nowadays, the usefulness of the ISO KKL cable (commonly known as VAG-COM) is negligible, because it does not support CAN, which most cars have, hence there is nothing to answer on the K line, because it does not exist.

You have the cable on the FTDI chip.

The cable should work with the program for which it is dedicated, i.e. VAG K+CAN Commander 1.4.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding and installing a USB to Serial driver for the VAG KKL 409.1 cable on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Users share links to drivers, specifically for the CH340/CH341 chip, and provide troubleshooting advice for installation issues. Common problems include the system not recognizing the driver, the need for a 12V power supply from the OBD-II plug for proper operation, and the distinction between different chipsets (FT232 vs. CH340). Users also discuss the limitations of the KKL cable in modern vehicles that primarily use CAN protocols, leading to connectivity issues with VAG-COM software.
