    I have the following layout:
    1. Bathroom light circuit (let's call them L1 and N1)
    2. Fan circuits (2 cables enabling 2 fan operation modes and a phase wire - let's call them N2.1, N2.2 and L2 respectively)

What I would like to achieve: Connect the 1st fan operation mode to the bathroom light so that when I turn on the light, the fan will turn on. How to connect it properly?

    I tried connecting as follows:
N1 from N2.1 and L1 from L2, but when turned off, bathroom light is still on

What am I doing wrong? Do I need a contactor? If so, how to connect it correctly?

It is not very easy to understand something from your description, take pictures of this fan and its connections, insert it and we will think about it.

Pull the two wires from the light to the fan and that's it. You turn on the light, you turn on the fan.

As I thought. The problem is that I noticed there is a low voltage on the two cables N2.1 and N2.2 from the fan. When I press the switch, everything works as it should - the fan and the light turn on. However, when I turn off the switch, the fan turns off and the bulb glows slightly. I can close the circuit by connecting the cables to both L1 and L2 contacts, so I suspect it's the same phase.

Let a colleague give the type of this fan, because it looks like a fan with a constant phase for a humidity sensor or a temporary switch-off.

What happens when it is turned on?
You probably have L2.1, L2.2 and N2 in the fan. So you have to replace L with N. In order for N to be constant and control L. It must be the same in lighting. You cannot switch N in one circuit and L in the other and connect them.

And as a colleague wrote above, the dual-function fan must be constantly powered.

Just in case, if this fan will be installed in the ventilation duct and there is a flow heater in the bathroom, it is better not to install it at all. Of course, if you know that, no problem.

Thanks @misiekt. Although it was installed from the very beginning (developer status), I did not install it from scratch.

    Hi,
    I have a similar - well, maybe a little - problem.

I have a double switch in my bathroom and two light modes (2, 3 or 5). On one switch 2, on the other 3 lights.

I wanted to connect the fan so that it would work with one light mode and the other and both at once. So that regardless of how many lights I turned on the fan would work. How to connect it?

I would like to add that if I wanted to give (+) from the socket and (-) from the lights - or vice versa, it either breaks the plugs or all the lights shine at once.

And I was already dumbfounded. The installation was laid by an electrician, but he probably forgot to describe the cables ... I'm not an electrician - will you help? I will be grateful!
    Regards.

We will help, call an electrician! It can't be wireless.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a bathroom fan to a light circuit to enable the fan to operate when the light is turned on. The user describes their wiring setup, which includes a bathroom light circuit (L1, N1) and fan circuits (N2.1, N2.2, L2). They encounter an issue where the fan turns off when the light switch is off, causing the bulb to glow slightly. Responses suggest that the fan should be connected with a constant power supply (N) while controlling the light (L). It is recommended to check the fan type, as it may require a specific wiring configuration for dual operation modes. The Helios ELS-VE 60/30 fan model is mentioned, indicating it may have specific requirements for proper installation.
