Hello, I am looking for a washing machine and dishwasher model for cold and hot water connection.

Hello, I am looking for a washing machine and dishwasher model to use hot and cold water. I have solar collectors installed in my house and I would like to use water heating. I will only add that my water is connected from a deep well and the sellers' arguments that heating the water costs a few zlotys seems inadequate to the situation here, because my water is ice-cold from the well, and I do not use even 50% of the water from the panels. from household appliances sellers claim that there are no such washing machines and dishwashers on the market, and if it is only a sporadic series, they can not even explain the topic.
Maybe someone of you has such devices and could tell me what models of washing machines and dishwashers can be connected to hot and cold water
    greetings

    Hello

The sellers are misleading you. All you need is a suitable query on Google and you have everything on your plate. From dishwashers, you can have both Amica ZWV 427 W for about PLN 1,100 and Smeg LP364XT for over PLN 7,000. From washing machines, for example, Gorenje W9865E. It all depends on such factors:

    - what's your shopping budget?
    - should the devices be free-standing or built-in?
    - what are their dimensions?

    greetings

Buy whatever you want. Attach the two-way manifold to the washing machine. Connect the two hoses and that's it.
After turning on the washing machine, you turn on the hot water and wait for it to take as much as it needs, i.e. about two minutes, turn on the hot water, turn on the cold one and wait for it to be washed. otherwise it will foam all the time. After washing, turn off the washing machine and turn off the water. There is no simpler or cheaper solution. This method only applies to the washing machine.

Most devices have one water connection.
Use a thermostatic mixer as a hot and cold water mixer.
I have been doing this for many years.
Dishwashers have a limitation of the hot water temperature and it is worth replacing the inlet hose in the washing machine.
The last washing machine I dealt with, which had two water approaches, was the Soviet Viatka.

It is strange at all, so much is said about ecology, washing machines already have A with three pluses, and ... a 2 kW heater, how is it supposed to be energy-efficient? . And sellers reply that there are no washing machines with hot water connection, they simply do not want to look for them, even in online stores you cannot filter by such a function. The dishwasher can only be connected to hot water (as they say in the operating instructions) and I have it connected, but as for the washing machine, now the Electrolux EWT11266OW has 100% such a connection (I have a previous model from 2 years ago, but they are opened from the top ) and probably Beko WKB 61232 PL PTY (probably because the descriptions are vague), the electricity consumption when connected to hot water is significantly lower. I am now looking for another front-loading washing machine. The funniest thing is that when I ask the sellers if the washing machine has a hot water connection, or if they have washing machines with hot water connection, they write back that their washing machines do not need to be connected to hot water because they heat themselves ...

EDIT-> The courier has just brought me a brand new washing machine GORENJE W9865E and with all my authority I can confirm that it has a connection for hot and cold water.

Hello, the washing machine is like a washing machine, in general, my wife supports it and does not complain, generally very large, but it is for 9 kg of load, so it must be large. It does not pass through the door 60 cm, I had to put it through the window (into the basement, so it was possible), it spins well, because it is 1600 rpm. It does use hot water, but only when washing at 60 degrees or more (I heat hot water with the sun using the device described on ekopulsar.pl, so the savings in hot water consumption are large), although it seems to me that the second washing machine I have - electrolux 1066 OOW is able to draw hot water better because it has smarter electronics and "tests" the temperature of hot water and selects it for each process where water warmer than 10 degrees is needed (it even has the inscription "sunny solar water"). Only the electrolux washing machine is much smaller and top-loading.

The washing machine takes 40 liters of water for 2 hours of washing. During this time, the water in the pipes will cool down. For me, with a gas stove it would be even more expensive than with heating with electricity (or like most washing machines)

Well, not all of them have DHW circulation, I have, I made myself, the pipes are well insulated, so the heat loss due to circulation is small, the whole installation is made in such a way that it works by gravity, so I do not need any pump and no electronics for the circulation to work . And it works so that if you start the flow of water from the tap with one hand and then put this hand under the stream of water, the flowing water is already warm :D .

guess you don't have a mixing valve in your installation?

I do not have a mixing valve, I have a 500-liter enamel tank, I heat it to a maximum temperature of 60 degrees C in summer (sun) and 46 degrees C in winter (heat pump). My dishwasher is connected only to hot water and the washing machine to hot and cold water.

In the manuals for Polish washing machines, connections for hot and cold water are also drawn, only at the connection to hot water there is an asterisk and at the bottom an explanation that this option is only available in some versions of washing machines.

Dishwashers can often be connected to hot water. I have Bosch and I write on the solenoid valve about the possibility of connecting to water at a temperature of 60 degrees and 65 degrees for a maximum of 5 minutes.
I found only 4 models of washing machines with this function, and I asked in the hotlines Electrolux, Beko, Samsung, Amica, Gorenje, Whirpool, Bosch, Siemens, Zanussi, Lg.
    1. Electrolux EWT11266OW price around PLN 1650- 55 degrees water connection
    2. Beko WKB 61232 PL PTY price about PLN 1150- water up to 90 degrees
    3. Beko WTV 6602 DB0 price about PLN 1250 (descendant No. 2) - water up to 90 degrees
    4. Gornje W9865E price around PLN 2259 - hot water
Regarding the use of hot water.
1.electrolux takes it for washing in programs according to the instructions:
    o Cotton 90 ° C: hot water only.
    o Cotton 40 ° C-60 ° C: warm + cold water.
    o Synthetic 40 ° C-60 ° C: warm + cold water 40 degrees up.
2nd and 3rd Response from the Beko consultant:
o normal programs from 40 degrees
o Daily Rapid program from 40 degrees
o Xpress Super Short program from 30 degrees
4.Gorenje according to the instructions - Hot water (a mixture of hot and cold water) is only dosed for washing programs 60 ° or more.

Since I plan to buy Beko washing machines, I am asking for an opinion on the use of hot water. [/ Quote] [/ u] [/ i]

I raise the topic. I am also looking for a washing machine with hot water connection, unfortunately neither sellers nor online advisers in stores are informed of what I could find is only a beco washing machine, but somehow I am not convinced of this company. If someone had one, I am asking for a model. Of course, one that is still in stores, thank you in advance.

I wrote that I found this one, but are there any other companies' washing machines because I'm not convinced of Beko! Unless there is a user of such a washing machine on this forum and comments about this washing machine,

If anyone has any current proposals (The above Beko washing machines are no longer on sale, and the most suitable - front loading and hot water intake in 40-degree programs).

After half a year of searching, I gave up on a hot water washing machine. I bought a regular one, I am disappointed that at a time when you care about ecology and costs, there are no such washing machines on the Polish market and producers are not interested in producing them.

Well, you've finally seen your eyes. In fact, people are talking about caring for ecology so that someone can spend their money on it. The manufacturer is not interested, because for him it is an additional hot water connection + some additional elements are an additional cost increasing the final price of the product. You also need a slightly different washing program, because you don't have to wait for the water to heat up.
In addition, this customer must also have an installation (solar, PC, PV) with cheap hot water. In addition, even if he has such an installation, he often has no clue that he can connect this hot water to a washing machine so as not to pay for water heating a second time. They probably counted and it turned out that, statistically, he doesn't even think about bothering potential clients.

In the end, I bought a washing machine that only takes hot and cold water. Using a 2-way manifold that needs to be manually operated is reliable but uncomfortable. This washing machine is a second-hand Miele Professional WS 5426. If anyone is interested in this equipment, I am assuming a new topic - Miele hot water washing machine.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding washing machines and dishwashers that can connect to both hot and cold water. Users express frustration with sellers claiming such models are unavailable, despite the existence of several options. Key models mentioned include the Electrolux EWT11266OW, Beko WKB 61232 PL PTY, Beko WTV 6602 DB0, and Gorenje W9865E, which can utilize hot water for washing. Some users suggest using a two-way manifold for washing machines to facilitate hot water connection. The conversation highlights the ecological benefits and cost savings of using hot water, especially for those with solar heating systems. However, there is a consensus that the market lacks a wider variety of such appliances, leading some users to abandon their search.
