Hello, what does the indicator A in a circle with an arrow mean, as in the attachment on the board.
Everything works, when you press the button on the console "A", the message on the console lights up, when you press it again, everything disappears. So I guess everything is ok as with ESP.
But what is this button and light, what is it for?

The function that automatically turns off the engine when stationary is not available, the ideogram can guess that it is due to the poor condition of the battery.

Only computer diagnostics and correct interpretation of the parameters will help here. There are many reasons for this light, ranging from a weak battery, to faults with the measuring clamps, the warm-up phase of the engine, an open bonnet or even a driver's seat belt not being fastened (tested in Jeeps).

Topic summary

The indicator showing an "A" inside a circle with an arrow on the 2012 Honda Civic dashboard relates to the vehicle's automatic start/stop system, which turns off the engine during extended stops, such as at traffic lights, to save fuel. The button labeled "A" on the console activates or deactivates this function, with the corresponding message appearing or disappearing on the display. Common causes for the indicator to remain lit or the system to be unavailable include a weak or poor battery condition, issues with measuring clamps, engine warm-up phase, an open bonnet, or safety features like an unfastened driver's seat belt. Diagnosing persistent issues requires computer diagnostics to interpret system parameters accurately.
