Hello. The patient is a BMW 1 E87 118d. The problem is that the display shows a message all the time Tire pressure loss . There is a red tire icon with an exclamation mark on the clocks. And now yes, there are no errors on the ABS controller, the pressure in the wheels is 2.2bar, I suspect that you need to initialize. The instructions say that on the ignition, with the door closed, use the directional lever to find the tire icon and the inscription INIT or RESET . The problem is that there is no such thing there, there is oil, service, setting the clock, etc.

After entering the CHECK sub-function, there is a tire icon with an exclamation mark in red and a low fuel level, which is not important.

Has anyone encountered this so that the inscription INIT, RESET is not displayed? The error is on all the time and there is no way to perform the initialization.

If you have the tire icon, you hold down BC and reset or init appears and then you hold it down again.

I only have the tire icon when I enter the check sub-function. I click BC, I hold it and after 10 seconds the inscription at the bottom of CC-ID 63 appears to me, I click again and it goes out but nothing is calibrated ...

Yes. The guy on the video clicks a button down and the tire with the signature reset appears. I don't have this tire. Only when I enter CHECK, he shows me the tire icon and bitte tanken, i.e. only information. Idrive doesn't have this car .. Anyone have any idea?

Have you tried the button on the clocks?

I do not know the procedure, I tried but I was able to read the clocks in some 01.00 channel, in the 02.00 channel the clock test does, but there is no probing option there.

no no, that's not it. Do you have the option to upload at least a photo of the clocks or which year more or less?

    Try this:

-Turn on the ignition, wait until all messages go out.
-Hold the button for 10-15 seconds next to the clock
    -Later switch and search there.

Yes, the info service as well, and there is nothing there except for resetting the reviews. I did all these combinations with the ignition on, with the door closed, with the seat belts open, etc ... I can't find the adaptation function like in all these movies on yt, because it's simply not there ...

There is a TV set but there is only a knob and a setup button. Could this mean that the console is broken and cannot be used? Because I click the knob down and nothing happens, I click setup and nothing ...

If I turn on the ignition, it moves, when the pressure message is issued, it can be moved up or down to read the entire message up to the output, but it is impossible to go out, because it is an important message about a tire failure, that's how I understand it? Because while driving, I have tire pressure loss all the time and even the radio cannot be entered. The question is how to reset the system after pressure loss in one wheel ... because the instructions say, and there is no such field in the menu ...

Ps. I thought that, as iDrive, there are more buttons and then a richer menu.

I have a client who has the same problem. You cannot initiate the system by pressing and holding the BC on the lever, you cannot enter the menu by pressing the ignition mileage reset button because the tire indicator light is red.

This is from i-drive. For me, the knob is pressed vertically down but it does not enter any functions of this type. There is one setup button but it has no function. I can only knob on the sides, i.e. climate, communication, navi and entertainment.

Besides, you send me an e60 and I'm talking about e87 is a bit different story.

And I understand the problem still not solved?

As you can see, it is possible to enter into functions.
Record a video of how you snap this knob and what is on the display.

    Hello,
Rafl.jaro, I have a question, has the problem been solved?
Mianowice is the same for me. I changed the tires to winter tires and the red light came on. I have this message E87 Error CC-ID 63 Tire Failure.
