I changed the tires from 195/65 R15 to 205/55 R16 and at the end of the day the incorrect tire pressure light came on. I checked the pressure, it was slightly higher than 2.2 Bar for each wheel, so I adjusted it everywhere to 2.2 as suggested by the manufacturer on the plate and the indicator is still on, and the reset button is not there, as in the VW group. What to do?

You have the wheel sensors paired with the car's computer.

Okay, so how do I delete the light, or what to do to make it disappear by itself? There is no tire pressure option in the on-board computer

Load at 2.4-2.6 bar. Drive a few kilometers. The light will go out and you then deflate to normal.

It did not help, I was hooked the car to the computer, the light has been deleted so far, but the problem may be that I changed the alloy wheels from the Hyundai originals to the larger original ones from Mazda. The sensors can be in the alloy wheels from Hyundai?

Previously, it was only about changing tires. Where have I heard this? The customer provides as little data as possible or the data is misleading. If you claim to be misleading, this is the answer: You are a specialist and you should know. I wonder what other facts changing the perception of the fault we will learn from the author of the topic?

Rather, he would not use 16 'tires on 15' rims. But the fact does not write anything but this control .....

Nothing is erased there, efficient sensors and the correct pressure of 100 meters of travel and it goes out by itself. In my humble opinion, the sensor is damaged.

If I knew that there are some special sensors in the vents, I would not write a post here ... I figured it out only when I saw what the computer shows at the mechanic. The vulcanizer put tires on 16-inch rims and installed new valves, so I would not even think that this could be a problem.

As one of the gentlemen politely replied to the layman, it was enough to remove the tires from the old wheels, disassemble the sensors and mount them to the new alloy wheels. After driving just a few meters with the sensors in the wheels, the indicator light went out.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around resetting the incorrect tire pressure warning on a Hyundai i30 II (2014) after changing tires from 195/65 R15 to 205/55 R16. The user reported that despite adjusting the tire pressure to the manufacturer's recommendation of 2.2 Bar, the warning light remained on. Responses indicated that the issue may stem from the absence of tire pressure sensors in the new alloy wheels, which were originally from Mazda. Suggestions included inflating the tires to 2.4-2.6 Bar and driving a short distance to see if the light resets, as well as transferring the sensors from the original wheels to the new ones. Ultimately, it was confirmed that the sensors need to be properly installed for the warning light to function correctly.
