I wanted to open the car with the remote control. The central locking did not open the door, I got inside with the key, it turned out that the individual settings were reset, e.g. programmable buttons on the steering wheel, setting the number of flashes of the direction indicators, etc., I set everything, unfortunately, the central locking does not work, I can only close the remote control the driver's door, only the rear trunk lid opens from the remote control, I also can't open the door with the button inside the car, or with the door handles. What could it be for a failure?

Or maybe you could give the "E" model, because there is a difference.

Now better. there is a safety box behind the glove box. check 2 safety 15A in the lower left corner, the other one is for sure blown replace with 20A, If it burns again, you have the lock to replace.

the fuse was blown, I changed it to 15A, it does not burn but the lock still does not work, I wonder if you need to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. (where is the battery in this car? :) )

IF both fuses are OK turn the ignition on first and push the central locking button. Disconnecting may also help.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

In the trunk on the right.

Disconnecting and connecting the battery so far helped, the lock works, even individual settings have returned.

    Hello!
it was similar for me, the central one did not work, even from the inside it was impossible to open the door manually. I replaced the security card 57 - it was burned. the left door has been revived, it works from the locking button and the remote control, the right one, unfortunately, is not, only it can be opened manually from the inside, the direction indicators have also returned. what would I do next? I will add that I also replaced the battery with a new one, but from time to time a message about low battery pops up, the time, daily mileage and fuel consumption are deleted ...

My entry was a bit long ago, but for me, after replacing the fuse and resetting by disconnecting the battery, everything worked fine.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunction in the central locking system of a BMW 320d (model e91). The user reports that the remote control is unresponsive, and the central locking does not function for the doors, although the trunk can be opened. Several users suggest checking the fuses, specifically a 15A fuse located behind the glove box, which may be blown. After replacing the fuse, the user considers resetting the system by disconnecting the battery, which ultimately resolves the issue, restoring both the central locking functionality and individual settings. Another user mentions a similar experience, where replacing a security card also helped restore functionality.
