    Hello,
At the outset, I must say that I have read half of the internet before I decided to bother you, so forgive me if I missed something, and what has already been written.

    I have a VAG-K + CAN (usb) diagnostic interface.
    I have a DELL Latitude 5550 computer and a 64 bit Windows 7 PL
I received from a friend the DDT2000 program with the base.
I installed the program as it was written in the manual, along with the replacement of the registration file, etc ...

My problem begins right now ...
IE11 ... for my taste, nothing like it does not work with this program.
After running it in my browser, I see the following message
"Check your browser compatibility and VBScript support"
Of course, I turn on the active content that the program asks me for, but that doesn't help.

    - Can anyone help me? Any browser to use?
    - Does this program run on 64 bits and on Windows 7? There are a lot of opinions on the Internet, and I would ask for a specific answer. The fact that it works on Windows XP I read to myself - I'm only interested in Windows 7 and 64 bit.
    - What browser do you use for it?

Of course, the program, as you have guessed, does not run any further and there is nothing I can do.
    -------------------------------------------------- ------------------
When I start the DDT2000 Light program without the cable inserted, the program starts
When I start the DDT2000 Light program with the cable inserted and connected to the car, the program starts and shows a red screen with the error 1009 message.

I have the following settings for the COM2 port on which I have the cables:
    Bits per second: 9600
    Data bits: 8
    Parity: None
    Stop bits: 1
    Flow control: None

    In Advanced moms
    Receive (Bytes): 4096
    Transmission (Bytes): 4096

    Delay time (msec): 1

I was able to find so much on the Internet ...

Can anyone give me a hint, advise or guide me on how to connect to my car (RENAULT CLIO II from 2000? 1.4 16V) or Renalt Thalia 1.4 8V from 2003?

My goal is to remove (turn off) the CHECK ENGINE light in Thala - my dad broke the V-belt, one of the sensors broke. I have replaced the sensor for a long time, Daddy, and the belt too - it remains to erase the error and turn off the CHECK ENGINE light.

In general, it should be the other way around :)

in general, your answer did not contribute anything, but if you have already spoken, maybe you will help me ...

how to configure DDT2000 to work?
    what am I doing wrong?
    can you suggest something constructive?

when I run the program without the cable connected - the program starts

when he puts the cable and under the computer - he gets a red screen and error 1009

Of course it works, even on windows 8 64BIT.
You must use the AVANT BROWSER browser and in the address bar to the right in front of the arrow, select "IE compatible."
It works for me, sometimes you have to repeat the option with IE compatibility, but it's probably not a problem :)
    greetings

And did you do everything I wrote? If so, you are fast :-)
    I have described everything ...?
And which ddt2000 do you use mister?

    I forgot the main question:
    Are the cable drivers installed?
Browser under Avant must run, you select compatible with IE

Here you are :-) I hope you will find my hint helpful.

I was also tired for a long time, because I have not found anything about win7 and 8 64 bit anywhere. I checked all available browsers and nothing, only Avant (luckily encountered) gave a positive result.
And remember to tick at the top in the address bar to the right of "IE compatible", there are two, and it only works for one.

I am surprised only by the reverse reaction to connecting the cable when using the DDT2000 light. It worked normally for me. I would even go around with the cable drivers. ;-)

    This Avant is brilliant ....
The DDT2000 screen started to look different right away ... (attachment)

You started a new chapter with DDT2000 in my life :D

When I get back from Pracbazy, I immediately sit down and start working again ...
I think the temperature discourages me :D

ps ..... what drivers to get?
    I use, say, dedicated ...
I was buying my cable on alledrogo under passat and there were some drivers ...
vag smigal on them .... and I'm using these now

I personally use these drivers. Except that I have the obd2 kkl interface, but it won't hurt to try. You can always go back to the previous ones. :-)

I checked, the drivers will match, so go ahead and install ;-)

DDT error described as 1009 is
    "1009 E_FILENOTOPEN = Communication port not open"
ie "communication port not open" ... and it may be the setting of the transfer amount.
Instead 4096 should 1024 (sometimes even 512 works).

On Win.7, DDT fixes were included, but there is no version list at hand :|
I suggest that you get DDT2000 v 2.6.0.0 because from my own experience I know that each version above, despite the already improved DDTregisterInfo.dll libraries, is unstable or freezes the system altogether.
    Look here http://chomikuj.pl/klikklikklikacz/Auto+-+diagnostyka/DDT2000+v.2.6.0.0

Don't download DDT v2.9.0.8! Because you'll be disappointed anyway :D
    Only take 2.6.0.0
from the folder with DDT2.9.0.8 take only BAZE from ECU => DDT2000data.rar
is the most up-to-date because from 2013.

I do not think that anyone would like to translate into several languages ... so far I had the above-mentioned version and from the availability of languages it is with "Multi Lang", at most "dual lang" ... to choose from -> Francis or -> English

The crack of the DDT2000 Light interface itself has already been published on the forum,
at this link a colleague's post yarocz https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic1286164-240.html#9010695

As for diagnostics and displaying errors, when you see messages in English (not French) it's a success anyway ... some enthusiasts even translated these XML "flashcard" files into Polish.

Generally, it turns out that AVANT is the best for the ills that I had.
