Hello, I have a friend who has 32 circuits in his installation that switch lights and other devices. All the relays are bistable type and are mounted in a box on a strip with inputs SET, RESET and change of state on impulse from a switch. He recently bought an alarm which has 36 outputs to use. The problem is how to combine one with the other - he wants to control the on/off output -> on/off circuit directly. He has some ready made application for this provided by the alarm manufacturer. I was thinking of making a circuit on some Atmell + I/O expanders which will monitor the output of this alarm and at a change from 0->1 will generate a pulse of say 100 ms to the SET input of the relay, at a change from 1->0 100 ms pulse to the RESET input.

My question is if it is possible to make it simpler, or maybe there is some ready to use solution not to play with electronics just to buy and connect?
I would like to add that inverters are out of the question because switching on SET / reset blocks the change
    from the switch.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Regards,

    Robert

Sorry, I don't know Jablotron, and I'm not going to (like some on this forum) pretend to be smarter than I am...The Zamele control itself is trivial, but as far as the alarm is concerned, I would advise you to change from the section you are writing in to Stationary Security - Alarm Systems.
In the title write " Jablotron JA-106KR with JA-118N output module - lighting control "
I think you will get quicker answers to your questions there...
