    Hello
I am asking everyone for help in solving my problem, namely how the red light from the oil lights up in the subject, to make it more interesting after replacing the turbine (first suspicions), after replacing the oil pump, the bushings on the shaft look nice (in the opinion of the mechanic), after connecting the manometer, the pressure at idle speed is around 0.9bar, at 2000 revolutions, about 1.7-1.8 bar at 4000 revolutions, even 4bar, and the strangest thing is that this indicator lights up even when the pressure gauge was attached and the sensor was unplugged and always after exceeding 1500 revolutions. I am asking for advice because my hands are falling on this wonderful German car.

Such pressure signaling miracles happen with either a broken or overloaded alternator. From what I once read on the vw forum it was about a single-wire sensor.

The alternator gives a voltage of 14.2V, I checked, but I do not remember how many wires go to the sensor tomorrow I will call the mechanic and check

The cable from the sensor to the set of indicators and the indicators themselves to be checked.

Cubes next to the controller under the battery. They like to tarnish.

The case was resolved, the new sensor turned out to be nuts after replacing it with another, everything ok

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the activation of the red oil light in a Volkswagen T5 2.5 TDI after the replacement of the turbo and oil pump. The user reports oil pressure readings of 0.9 bar at idle, 1.7-1.8 bar at 2000 RPM, and up to 4 bar at 4000 RPM, yet the warning light activates after 1500 RPM regardless of the pressure gauge readings. Responses suggest potential issues with the alternator, wiring to the sensor, and the sensor itself. Ultimately, the problem was resolved by replacing the faulty oil pressure sensor.
