    Hello
I have a problem with sometimes turning on speed below 2000 and a hot engine oil pressure gauge. In the car I recently replaced the oil pump, because it did not give pressure, acetabulum, oil flooded 5w40 and the problem of the flashing light did not disappear. What could be the reason? I would like to add that now the system pressure, idle speed and heated engine pressure on the gasoline are around 1.5 bar and the gas is about 1.1-2 bar.

Here you curious what relationship with the oil pressure has the type of fuel?
    Did you check the sensor?

Maybe the gas has lower revolutions. The oil pressure can also be lost by the timed camshafts. But if the gauge shows well, the sensor can hit.

How much is heated at 2000 rpm?

It has to have MINIMUM 2 bar.

The gas has less, because the gas is to regulate and keeps the revs around 650. But it ignites usually around 1800 rpm

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

Or maybe something is wrong with the turbine and its lubrication fails? But according to me, it goes well and you do not hear anything disturbing. On Monday I will go and measure again on the exact pressure gauge, according to the mechanic something wrong, there may be something with the oil level sensor, because sometimes it also lights up when braking or accelerating

There is no relationship ... I think the sensor is the solution.

If it is damaged, the sensor would not be constantly burning from the pressure? Can someone tell you if there are two sensors with this motor or just one? Around the oil filter

    Maybe it's orange, it's shining?

Say you have solved the problem of this control?
I have a similar and no one can help: the measured pressure is ok and the red indicator lights up at 1800 revolutions and goes out above 2000. pressure at 1800 2 bars at 2000 2.5bara.

Little. Probably a little below 1800 / min there is no required 1.6bar and for this moment it lights up.

The problem is still unrelated. One mechanic claims that the reason may be knocked clocks, because once in a while they go crazy, and the speed tip does not work smoothly

Mother, let's not put up ... no clocks, I've done such defects, including dumps, the repair was fast. What I did:
    - Micha's dismantling,
    - cleaning the dragon,
    - pump collection, in order to determine the wear of the sprockets and the stripping of the lid and housing
    - checking the operation of the bleed valve with the compressor several times
    - Replace the oil filter with a branded one
    - pressure measurement on slow, warmed up, and at 2 - 3 - 4 thousand turns, is supposed to grow, say linearly, 2 thousand - 2 bars, 3 thousand 3 bars, etc. It can be deco less, of course, and more.
    - Then a good pressure sensor screwed into the base of the oil filter, cheap like to press through the plug and oil leaks, of course, do not work at the same time.

If you do the above, I guarantee, you will repair the car in 1 day and do not worry if the turbo is obliterated or not, because the weak supply of oil. greetings

    My friend :
    The cleaned dragon
    MAN filter
    New oil pump
Only this valve is not cleaned, and the problem is still there

    What pressure do you have?

At the time of the measurement I was not, but the mechanic claims that it is good. The indicator light usually lights up at 1800 rpm

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around oil pressure indicator issues in an Audi A4 B6 1.8T, particularly when the engine is hot and at low RPMs. The user has replaced the oil pump and is using 5W40 oil, yet the oil pressure warning light persists. Responses suggest checking the oil pressure sensor, as it may be faulty, and highlight that the oil pressure should be at least 2 bar at 2000 RPM. Some users speculate that issues with the camshaft timing or turbo lubrication could also contribute to the problem. The user notes that the warning light activates at around 1800 RPM and sometimes flickers during acceleration or braking. Various troubleshooting steps are discussed, including measuring oil pressure with a reliable gauge and ensuring proper maintenance of the oil system components.
