Hello, I bought Battlefield 1 on release day and played over 2 months without any flaws or problems. I can't connect to the server / session for some time. I tried to add UDP and TCP ports via Smart Port Manager, but still nothing. I can't enter through "Quick Play". But games will go into the server browser and join as an observer, and then normally as a player to play, everything works. Recently, I could play thanks to the router reset, but this method has not been working for several days. Any suggestions?

Go to Origin> My Game Library> PPM on BF1 and select repair. Then reset.

I tried to repair, open ports using Smart Port Forwarding. Unlock firewall for bf1. Nothing helps.

EDIT: After repairing the game, it connected me to one game session, after the end of the round I couldn't play any more, game reset did not help

Then you have some problems with the network. And does Multiplayer work on other games?

Topic summary

Battlefield 1 players are experiencing server connection issues, specifically being unable to join sessions or use the Quick Play feature. The user, who has played the game without problems for over two months, attempted to resolve the issue by configuring UDP and TCP ports via Smart Port Manager, but to no avail. They reported that while they can join games as an observer, they face persistent connection problems. Suggestions from the community included updating graphics drivers, repairing the game through Origin, and checking network settings. Despite these efforts, the user continued to encounter the "Connection to session lost" error. Other users noted that the issue could stem from router, server, or internet faults, and one user found temporary relief by deleting the Battlefield 1 folder from their documents.
