    Hello.

To begin with, I will point out that the car fires normally. For some time I have been trying to solve the problem of flashing inscription FPS ON and for this reason I have questions:

    1. Will unplugging this sensor forever cause the car to stop firing (the car is a toy for amateur rallies)?
    2. How to restore mileage on the meter?

I know that the subject of fps itself has been rolled out many times, but I did not find the answer.

You have three pins in the crash sensor. One is the ground which is connected to the other pin and supplies the ground with a fuel pump. If the switch works then disconnects the mass from the second pin and connects to the third pin and gives the mass to the system in the meter that displays the inscription FPS ON but then you can not start the car. If you have this inscription and the car fires then something wrong - sensor short circuit , in the meter, etc.

Ok and then what should I do to get rid of this sensor on the car and the car to fire and not display the message.

See how the wires in the sensor are connected. Detach the sensor completely to the test and see if the inscription FPS ON disappears. If so, look for a cable with constant mass - multimeter or test tube. According to the diagram, it should be connected to the input number 1 of the sensor. Connect it to the cable from input 3 - to the fuel pump. After turning the key the pump should be heard. Insulate the cable from input 2 so that it does not touch the ground and leave it free. But in this system, in the event of an impact, the pump will not stop and that's what the inertial switch is for

I dug up after a year. My problem is that there is no sensor in the place where it should be and I have no idea where the cables come from the sensor. They go to the pump?

Since you do not have a sensor and the inscription FPS ON appeared, it is possible that the cable that was to be connected to the crash sensor simply touches the ground, since the car starts up, the other two wires are probably connected (the mass is transferred to the fuel pump because only the mass passes through the switch) Plus is fed separately through a fuse and relay. Look for a free cable around the switch and insulate it if it touches the mass of the car.

The topic was resolved, as it turned out cables
from the sensor were only near the right pillar under the dashboard.

All three were bolted together and insulated.
I decided to connect two thicker together with a connector so that the fuel pump works and insulate the thin one.

The mileage can be seen on the clocks, FPS ON does not flash after starting the car.
Thank you for your help and patience sandamiano. greetings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Fiat Seicento 1.1 mpi and the issue of a flashing FPS ON message. The user inquires about the implications of permanently disconnecting the crash sensor and how to restore the mileage on the meter. Responses suggest checking the wiring of the crash sensor, as a short circuit or improper connections could cause the FPS ON message. One user resolved the issue by locating the sensor cables, insulating them, and connecting the appropriate wires to ensure the fuel pump operates correctly. After these adjustments, the FPS ON message ceased to flash, and the mileage was visible on the dashboard.
