Hello colleagues. Or maybe some of you had to deal with VTS Volcano heaters? The fan has a motor probably with a tapping winding (3 fan speeds). The engine works only at the highest speed. I am looking for the possibility of rewinding this engine, possibly a diagram, data. Please help. greetings

    Hello

Did a colleague see the connection up close?
    Sample here

Is it connected to the power grid directly or via a regulator?
Examples of regulators for the Volcano heater VRMini VR1 VR2 models are below

I also attach other connection diagrams of the motors in the Volcando VRMini VR1 VR2 VR3 VRD heater.

It is not always worth it because copper (winding) is not cheap and e.g. a 2.2kW motor override is not worth doing it yourself.
However, here is a small engine around 0.5kW so it should not be expensive.
It may be worth contacting the distributor of this heater or an authorized service center to buy the engine itself, assuming, of course, that it is damaged.

Thanks for the answer. Exactly the same scheme. The motor is connected by a 3-stage regulator and works only at the highest speed. I contacted the service and the engine is not available as a spare part. It can be ordered but the cost is a four-digit amount.

    is the regulator good?

I suggest going to scrap yards, bazaars, auctions where maybe someone will want to sell a used but good one.
In addition, you can go to workshops that rewind the engines for how much they value the rewind.
As the above suggestions will not help remove the engine, write its data from the nameplate and look for its manufacturer.

Hello, what happens when switching to a different speed? (buzzing / silence).
Maybe the rotation switch is broken?

The switch is OK, the engine is operating at the highest speed and the silence is lower.

What about measuring winding resistance. There is no engine diagram on the cover from the inside?

the diagram does not show the windings themselves, only the connection method. There is resistance between the beginning (terminal N) and the first end (U1), the gap between the other ends (U1 - U2, U2 - U3). If the number of wires in the nursery could be counted, the problem may be in the photo of the winding diagram, because this burned "winding" is as if shifted in the nurseries. I will try to attach photos later. I was counting on the fact that someone from my colleagues used to such a miracle and had winding data. Followers want PLN 600 for such a repair, without guarantee that the number of turns can be counted in additional groups and thus the rotation speeds are the same as in the original

Start with the simplest thing, look for a break in the winding, it may be somewhere on the joining of wires.
Do I leave wires or wires from the inside of the motor?

Photos. It looks as if the main winding occupied 12 nurseries, and another 12 nurseries these additional windings, but I'm not sure. This is what the winding looks like, as can be seen from under taping.

    Wiam.
I have the same fan a total of 2 burned. You (stonefree) found someone who rewound him? How did the case end?

Hi. They wanted PLN 500 for rewinding, so I bought a regulator (autotransformer) for PLN 190 and it stayed the same.
