    Hello,

I'm new to the forum, so first I would like to welcome everyone.

I have a problem - I have a Cellpipie 7130 router from Orange, ADSL network. It is the main router in my home. Another Pentagram P6351 router is connected to it and my computer to it (due to the distance and the possibility of Wi-Fi network in my room). The problem is that I want to split the link so that the internet that "flies" over the cable to my router has a higher priority than for Wi-Fi from the Cellpipe router. It is very important to me. There is a QoS function in the router, which I can't comprehend for anything in the world, most of the parameter names are black magic to me. I put screenshots of settings in attachments and ask for help. I care about low ping in online games. best regards

I think you should focus on QoS queues. There you can set - from what I can see from the pictures - that it is possible to set priorities for specific interfaces, so try to give your cable priority 1, and for the wifi or other interface, a lower priority

OK, I partially understand and thanks for the answer. The problem is that these interfaces are grouped into one. Should I create a new group and add only my LAN port there and mark the group in the queue based on that? You can create a new group of these interfaces and configure a rule for them.

I tried. This message pops up. Maximize Internet Priority on Wired Connection: Cellpipe 7130 & Pentagram P6351 Routers QoS Setup

I added my LAN port and after disabling the message box, I disconnected the internet in only this LAN port. Everything else works. What is wrong?

Unfortunately, I do not have this router at home to verify it. Were you looking for a tutorial on the web?

I searched and found nothing. It is such a hopeless device that I wanted to replace it with another one, but unfortunately it did not work.

I have another idea. Namely, I would like to set this Pentagram as the main router and set Cellpipe to bridge mode. I will put the first one right behind Cellpipe and connect everything to it. The question is how to do it if in the Cellpipe options I turn on the bridge mode and completely lose access to the Internet?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around configuring Quality of Service (QoS) settings on a Cellpipe 7130 router from Orange and a Pentagram P6351 router to prioritize wired connections over Wi-Fi. The user seeks to ensure that their wired connection has a higher priority to achieve low ping in online gaming. Initial suggestions include creating a new group for the LAN port and adjusting its priority in the QoS settings. However, the user encounters issues with interface grouping and connectivity when attempting to implement these changes. They also consider switching the Pentagram P6351 to the main router and setting the Cellpipe to bridge mode, raising concerns about losing internet access during the process.
