    Hello

Can any of the forum members once deal with such problems as only the front passenger airbags.
I mean, in about half a year I will have to transport a child 4 volts at the front because the back will be the second in the gondola.
As far as I know, the airbag must be deactivated when the child is in the front of the seat. The problem now is that I have not found the switch off button in Zafira B 200 for 1.8 petrol. I also ride her without a child so the cushion must work if I am carrying an adult person.
Was anyone able to do this type of installation for this or another car model? Any button to switch or remove the fuse if it is? Because I have to quickly activate or deactivate the pillow depending on the situation mentioned above.

I am asking for advice on this matter if someone has done something or has an idea.

It should be a switch. Did you look in the glove box in the right side of the dashboard?

As the child will be facing backwards, you must switch off.
As you face it, you do not have to.
In addition, not every car has a passenger airbag switch.

Opel Zafira from 2000 is Zafira A, not B as you have in the description.
There is no circuit breaker in the glove box and this car was not available for the car I was dismantling.

The Toyota Yaris I gen also does not have a passenger air bag switch.

They are sold by Opel car seats with a transponder that detaches the cushion

    - funeral under the chair and see if there are any additional cables in the chair, except those from the airbag, you will know if you have such a system, unfortunately the seats are not cheap.

For the expensive thing. In addition, I already have a car seat. But thanks for the information and hint.

Regulations in Poland do not prohibit transporting children in a seat in the front seat.
If it is a rear-facing seat, the cushion must be switched off, if this is not possible, this type of seat can not be transported.
Manufacturers recommend that the seats are always mounted on the rear seats or on the couch.
So if you have a car seat facing the direction of travel, ie 9-18, 9-36 etc. according to Polish regulations, you can carry on the front seat with the cushion on.
Some European Union countries do not allow this.

PS. Opel Zafira from 1999-2005 is Opel Zafira A. Zafira B is from 2005-2014.
    This applies to the topic.

You're right so much that I made a mistake myself because I'm from 2010 but you were right, because you suggested the year 2000, p

I called the Poviat Police Headquarters in my region and the Road Department told me that children in car seats fastened with seatbelts can be transported forward facing with the cushion on. Even the policeman said that if a cushion was turned off in such a situation, you could get a ticket for it.
However, if in the front seat we want to transport children in baby carriers, gondolas etc. facing backwards, it is absolutely necessary to turn off the pillow or if there is no such option, take the child in the back seat.

I think the topic is resolved. I could immediately call and do not bother the forum members; p but maybe someone will eventually get information from this post for the future.
    Thank you all for participating.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the need to deactivate the front passenger airbag in an Opel Zafira B (2000, 1.8 petrol) when transporting a child in a rear-facing car seat. The original poster could not locate the airbag switch and sought advice on possible solutions. Responses indicated that not all vehicles, including the Zafira B, have a dedicated airbag switch. Some users suggested checking for additional wiring under the seat for systems that automatically deactivate the airbag when a compatible child seat is used. Polish regulations allow transporting children in forward-facing seats with the airbag active, but require deactivation for rear-facing seats. The poster confirmed their understanding of the regulations after consulting local authorities.
