Hello, I have a problem that I can't solve, and it's all about pillows. Deactive airbag pops up on the display. I was at a friend's computer and told me that the passenger airbag is connected. So I deleted the passenger compartment, everything was ok. The ankle was connected to the pillow. So now I don't know where to look for this reason. This is golf 4 1.4 16v. 99r

No vag should be a key switch. Provide accurate car data, year power capacity.

There is no cushion switch there. Break in the wires, or in the igniter itself - then the light to be replaced. Because it did not deactivate in the controller itself - something caused a message. I dare say that it will be about the driver's cushion and the tape retractor under the steering wheel.

    Or plugs under the seats.

In 1.4 of '99? I do not think so. Unless it's a "deluxe" version.

As for the interface, it is enough to use the most ordinary vag KK-L, and the program preferably vag 311 or vcds lite.
We choose group 15 airbag, then 10 adaptations, channel 01 and give READ.
The current pillow status will be displayed,
    1- deactivation
    0- activation
So if you have 1 then you change to 0 click save and it's ready.

Maybe you know something about the vcds program, because I mean vagu cable, but when it comes to vcds, I get the message: port status ok, usb not found! and for China I don't know what to do to run it: /

It must be vcds lite and you set the port with the car cable connected.

Give the number and a detailed description of the error.
As I remember correctly, when someone turns off the pillow, you must unplug the pillow from the pillow, otherwise the controller will report an error.
When the pillow is deactivated, the pillow indicator flashes at the beginning and then goes out.
If the reason is some other reason then the pillow lamp will not go out.
Do not use anything there other than VCDS Lite because in this year there may be a driver 6Q0909605A which goes to damage by diagnosing it with something else - e.g. Polish VAG, VVTOOL or other rubbish.
