Hello, I bought an Opel Zafira 2.0dt from 2000, the car fires beautifully, the temperature holds, only a problem because when I overtake, the car light comes on with the key and then it dies, I had a disela before, but I can't judge if the light comes on, it loses power more than once you have to wait for a while until the turbine turns on. I also have a problem, the reverse is not working, and the backlight of the bulb and fuses are replaced, what could be the cause?

Without a computer diagnosis, you won't do much with this key.

If something is not lit, the fuses are ok and the bulbs may be a beam, and in the case of reverse, the sensor in the gearbox.

I was at the diagnostician in the morning, fortunately, nothing serious, it can be a beam or a sensor and an error from the stop sensor pops up, the question is where is it so that I can replace it myself? Will someone help me? :)

Thank you very much for your help :) and do you know how much this sensor costs from the reverse which is mounted on the box?

The car's lamp with the key indicates an error in the immobilizer system. You have to verify the battery condition in the key and perform diagnostics of the fuel supply system, because the VP 44 pump, which is in this car, has a built-in immobilizer. The lack of power is likely due to a problem in the fuel system.

First of all, computer diagnostics is the basis. After diagnosis, the answer will be more precise. When it comes to lighting, a visit to an electrician is necessary, the problem is probably in the installation. Check the reverse gear switch next to the gearbox.
I believe that the lack of power is a serious matter and comes at a greater expense.

In Astra 2 / Zafira there is no "key" light, there is (as described in the topic) a car with a key. This is an engine management system fault indicator not related to emissions control (also includes, but is not limited to, the immobilizer fault).

Hello, I was shocked, today I was shocked right away, I say the car was going well all the time until this morning it fired normally, I drove 3km and suddenly the shock of the car went out and I do not want to start the car light with the keys and it is like a radiator with a fan. Now, the question, maybe someone will be able to advise what to do with it because once I read that it may be a fan module, a fuse, and not enough fluid. Anyone had such a case? These 2 lights are on all the time, the car is spinning but does not want to start

    Read errors.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced with a 2000 Opel Zafira 2.0dt, specifically a warning light activation during overtaking, loss of power, and a non-functioning reverse gear. Initial diagnostics suggest potential problems with the immobilizer system, fuel supply (specifically the VP 44 pump), and the reverse gear sensor located at the gearbox. Users emphasize the importance of computer diagnostics to accurately identify the issues. Suggestions include checking the battery condition of the key, verifying the fuel system, and inspecting the wiring for the reverse gear switch. Additional concerns about the car not starting and related warning lights indicate possible issues with the fan module or fluid levels.
