    Hello,
from today problems with my phone started.
When I connect it to charging, the LED lights orange (which means charging), the battery in the phone also shows that the phone is charging, but the percentages do not go up at all, on the contrary. It is not even maintained, only the charge level drops slowly, as if I were using a telephone.
Connecting it to a laptop does not solve the problem, but the laptop detects the device, I can view everything, move it etc.
The problem should not be in the battery, because it was replaced about a month ago and everything worked as it should.
I checked other contacts, other chargers, cleaned the "plug", I run out of ideas, what could be the problem? :(

Thank you for your help and best regards.

Edit. I forgot to add that for about 10 minutes he caught and charged, and then again the same. It has been 12 hours since then, I tried to connect, disconnect, on off, etc., but he didn't catch the second "breath" :(

Original, because the phone was under warranty until the end of January, it was replaced by Asus :P
Is the second thing that maybe it was supposed to "break" after the warranty period?

The fix is still that the level is maintained when the phone is connected and I do not use it, earlier it fell a few percent, but it is probably due to resets.

And on charging on a turned off phone has the same symptoms?
From what I see a problem quite common in these phones.

Yes, I left it turned off under the charger for about two hours and when I turned it on after about an hour 4% disappeared.
The same way overnight the charger didn't drop anything, and it was turned on, and then within an hour it dropped 2%, because I used it a bit on WiFi, but it was still connected.
I have no idea what's going on - he's crazy to the max: /
Tests are coming to an end soon, 18% left :D

    Is your phone guaranteed?

It is worth checking the power consumption during charging.

I have identical symptoms with my Zenphone Max. The phone was under warranty, so I sent it to the service and there they found it flooded, the guarantee was lost and I have to pay out of my own pocket. Anyone know how much such a repair on the site can be or what has fallen on the phone and what is to be replaced? The whole motherboard?

    edit:
Needless to say, the phone wasn't even near the water.

Therefore, before sending the warranty, detailed photos are taken, especially of sensitive points.

Well, but it's hard to take pictures of the inside of the phone as it has seals and goes for a guarantee, right?

The more I mean that on the phone there were no traces of water, sometimes even a special marker is visible that activates after contact with moisture, here you have their arrangement shown link (by the way, sometimes they can be activated from sweat when you have your phone on a hot day)

It's all a bit sad. In a private service they valued me for PLN 200, in Asus they wished so much for the diagnosis of parts to be replaced ... I respect everyone's future.

    Now I don't know what to do anymore, I took the phone to the service. They called me back after an hour that they had only blown it and charged up to 65% (and it was already empty). I took it, plugged it in, recharged it to 70%, then it started to fall to 50%, then it recharged to 87%, and now it does not recharge again but drops;
I tried to reset the system, but that's not it.
I would suspect a socket, but if it detects a connection, I can flip files, what could it be? I guess I will have to take it to another site where it won't happen, the malice of inanimate objects ...
