    I warmly welcome,
I have a problem with the Beko fridge-freezer. Namely, the aggregate works all the time and turns off only occasionally. The measured temperature in the refrigerator is the same as I set on the display, but in the freezer it keeps -28 ° C to -30 ° C all the time. I would like to add that the range of settings for the freezer is from -18 ° C to -24 ° C and with different settings nothing changes.

Now like this: there are 3 NTC sensors. I checked them all and everyone reacts in the same way when measuring with an ohmmeter (resistance decreases when warmer, and increases with cooling). Everyone also has the same resistance. I even swapped them places and it had no effect. Another part that I replaced with a new one is the thermostat and nothing has changed either. Then I bought a new motherboard because it was suspected that the system was steering poorly. Unfortunately, it did not work either. You could say that I have already mentioned everything. Only the display on the refrigerator door was to be replaced, where the temperature is set, but according to to me, it is unlikely to be malfunctioning.

I would like to add that I checked the wiring harness and cubes from the door to the motherboard and there is no break, so it's ok too. A friend told me that maybe the start at the compressor is broken. Maybe someone had a similar problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

The compressor starts and works, you write that it turns off occasionally, so the thermostat at the compressor also works. I would check if the evaporator in the freezer is not frozen, if the thermal fuse from defrosting the heater is functional and the heater itself should also be checked. I do not know the NTC parameters, maybe my colleagues from the Beko website will tell you that you can compare.

    Hello,
Thanks for your comments. The evaporator in the freezer was indeed frozen (as seen in the photo). So I defrosted the refrigerator. I checked after 5 days and the ice no longer builds up. However, the freezer still cools down to -30 ° C. The heater I do not know if it works, but after measuring it has a resistance of 2.5k?. I disconnected it and nothing has changed either. The only thing that has been replaced, and I do not know how to check it, is the electronic display on the refrigerator door where the temperature is set. Maybe it is broken and does not respond to freezer settings.

An interesting fact is that the refrigerator settings are in the range of 2-8 ° C and so: at 8 ° C it is ok, at 6 ° C it is ok, at 4 ° C the refrigerator gives 5 ° C and it cannot go down below it. If I set it to 2 ° C it keeps a minimum of 5 ° C in the fridge. In the freezer, the temperature is always the same -28 ° C to -30 ° C.

And how do you think the compressor is working, how did you check it?

Check the door seal in the refrigerator compartment.

The evaporator freezes up so the heater does not turn on, check this thermic on the evaporator.
The display has nothing to do with it; without a display, the refrigerator should operate at its factory settings.

The compressor hears all the time, it is hot and the ribs on the back of the refrigerator are half warm. Besides, if it wasn't working, how would the fridge cool?

All seals are in perfect condition and adhere well. The fridge is 4 years old, so it's not much for a fridge ...

Is it the part marked in the photo? Nomenclature is different in stores. In one store it is called a temperature sensor and in another a thermostat. Anyway, I bought this part new and nothing has changed. After defrosting the refrigerator, the evaporator no longer freezes. Previously, the refrigerator was not turned off from the news and maybe this is why this ice has accumulated.

The compressor in this refrigerator is quite quiet, you can hear the fan more than the compressor.

    So it has to be.

There is still a possibility that there is not enough refrigerant, but you will not check it yourself.

I think the amount of factor is right.
This refrigerator has ntc sensors. I would have agreed if it was controlled by a mechanical thermostat.

I called the service. They will be in 2 weeks. I will let you know what was the cause when the service technician manages to locate the fault.

Has the refrigerator been repaired? I have the same problem

    Hello,
problem has been solved. It was enough to fill the refrigerator with a new factor. The service technician did not guarantee that the refrigerant would not fly out, but the installation turned out to be tight. Knock on the refrigerator works to this day.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Beko CN228220X fridge-freezer experiencing continuous compressor operation and excessive freezer cooling, maintaining temperatures between -28 °C to -30 °C despite settings ranging from -18 °C to -24 °C. The user has checked and replaced several components, including NTC sensors, the thermostat, and the motherboard, but the issue persists. Responses suggest checking the evaporator for freezing, the thermal fuse, and the heater functionality. The user later reports that the problem was resolved by refilling the refrigerant, indicating a potential leak or insufficient refrigerant levels as the root cause.
