Hello, this time I have a problem - I have films from a skiing trip in Austria, recorded by phone (mp4, 1280x720), and cool, I can watch them on the phone and on the computer, but after connecting to the TV, the image is inverted 90 degrees - what is this to convert to watch normally?

I am to understand that on the computer orintation is normal and on the TV rotating? What do you play on TV? A computer connected to the TV? Player (if so, is the disc / pendrive with the same file for the computer and TV?)?

@Dydelmax I tried to convert to a different format (avi) but nothing (aspect ratio or somehow gave a rotation of 90 degrees).

@DriverMSG The same or just reduces the size and does nothing.

Ok, it turned out that I did not check one option, now ok, rotated the image, however, is cropped and in the window.

Check how movies are played on a TV from a computer (HDMI cable, LAN, WIFI).

As on a computer - correctly.

Why convert the whole movie as you can rotate it without conversion, e.g. with Free Video Flip And Rotate

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing issues with MP4 videos recorded on a Galaxy S6, which display rotated 90 degrees when played on a Samsung UE55KS9000 TV. Various solutions are suggested, including using video conversion software like FormatFactory and Avidemux, as well as VLC Media Player for rotation without conversion. The user confirms that VLC successfully achieved the desired effect, although some cropping issues were noted.
