Hello.
I have one question about plumbing. I made the water installation from the PPR. DHW PPR STABI and WZ from ordinary PP.
How do you check the tightness of the installation?
At home, I made the CWU tightness separately and WZ also separately. I have 4 measurements (a building with an attic - a separate inflow from the boiler room to the ground floor and attic). Tightness was made with water from the network (temperature about 8 degrees). Pressure 2.5 bar. On the stabi pipes, the pressure dropped by 0.1 bar within 2 hours, while the pressure dropped by 0.3 bar during the first 24 hours. Later, for the next 48 hours, it dropped by 0.1 bar and remains at the same level. Ambient temperature around 7-8 degrees. There are no leaks, all connections have been checked etc. and the pressure on the pressure gauge has dropped. Is this normal with ppr stabi pipes? On ordinary PPR, the pressure dropped by 0.1 bar within 24 hours and it did not drop any more (as far as I know, such a decrease is normal and results from the expansion of the pipes). I would like to add that I have two stabi circuits (ground floor and attic) and two ordinary cold circuits (also ground floor and attic). Is such a phenomenon on ppr stabi pipes normal? (I can't see any leaks, everything is tight and the pressure has dropped)
I would like to add that when checking the tightness of the connection of the manifolds (I have two, the ground floor and the attic), the installation for the manifolds from the boiler room was made on copper 28mm and zero pressure drops.
Can someone explain such a phenomenon? Where to look for the cause of such effects?
