I have a problem with leveling Scania R420 2005 the car was standing for two months and everything was fine. Leveling stopped working after winter stoppage. When loading cement, where leveling is needed, the car does not react at all. Remote control up and down works, but if I want to set a certain height and save it does not work. Zero errors on the computer.

you probably have a damaged leveling sensor on the rear suspension, and its mechanical frame is damaged, which in turn is activated by the sensor. Therefore, the error is missing and does not work. Connect the diagnoscope and analyze the sensor values in real parameters.

Leveling sensor fitted new. The values for lifting and lowering change. Bars and tension vary. One thing puzzles me because now it doesn't show the rear axle load. Where the computer showed until the end.

And you may have options to adapt / calibrate this sensor. More than once the replacement of the sensor itself did not help, because the problem was in the control pendant - cold February (just a hint).

This and I run out of ideas, tomorrow I will ask my friend only him and the Volvo works / how is it done in a Volvo, he will tell me, and is Scania just as interesting? I'll let you know tomorrow.

Perform level sensor calibration and load sensor calibration.

Pilot checked ?? The wires at the end of the "telephone cable" are not fried in the place where this spiral cable enters the upholstery near the right access handle ??
    All fuses OK ??

So how did it go? I have the same problem right now. When I disengage the leg from the level sensor and move it by hand - nothing happens. I changed the level sensor, pressure sensors for airbags, tried to change the control unit, checked all the wires. Nothing helps. I'm using “delphi” to calibrate, maybe that is the problem?

I do not know how Delphi is dealing with this system, but Texa, Jaltest for sure. And SDP3.
I think someone who knows about it should look there - it is also possible that you have a damaged control panel.
Do you have any errors in the SMS?
Basically it is a fairly simple system - there really is no philosophy there.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a leveling issue with a 2005 Scania R420 after a winter stoppage. The user reports that the leveling system stopped functioning despite the remote control for height adjustment working. Initial suggestions included checking the leveling sensor and its calibration, as well as inspecting the control panel and wiring for damage. The user confirmed the sensor was replaced and calibrated, but the rear axle load was not displaying. Further troubleshooting involved checking the control unit and using diagnostic tools like Delphi, with recommendations to consider other systems like Texa or Jaltest for better compatibility. The conversation highlights the importance of thorough diagnostics and calibration in resolving airbag leveling issues.
