    Hello,
I have been copying for some time and I am looking for a way to efficiently create flash drives with a protected partition before deleting them. In fact, I found ways to remove this type of protection and I could repeat the steps taken in such schemes in reverse order, but maybe you know a program that would allow you to do it automatically or semi-automatically. This is not about hardware protection, but software. Maybe some of the forum users have an idea for such software that will reformat the given flash drive, create one partition with prepared data, secure it, and add the remaining content to the free editable partition.
Best regards and thank you in advance for your help.

By the way, thank you to all forum users for help, I have used your advice many times as unregistered.

Flash drive protection is possible. The algorithm for reading data based on the serial number of the USB flash drive, data subjected to the hashing algorithm or encrypted on the algorithm used in the Enigma machine. Everything can be done. However, history has shown that everything is a matter of willingness and determination in encryption (or decryption)

Thanks for the answer, you misunderstood me, or I described it too poorly :-) The pendrive is not to be encrypted, quite the opposite. I want everyone to be able to preview the content, copy it etc. The lock should be only for removing the content. We have an educational project with multimedia teaching materials in the foundation, we usually sent them on pressed dvd discs, but we would like to switch to a pendriva protected against removal (there are interactive boards in schools now). The project is free and goes to schools, we operate within grants, we have limited resources, and the price for buying pendrives and securing them by an external company is prohibitive. I am looking for a way to do some work with volunteers on our computers.
I hope I've illuminated some. Best regards and thanks for the reply.

    I assume it's not Rocket Science :-)

That's exactly what it was about. I think I'll build something on this manual.
