    Hi,
I flown through a lot of topics and solutions but I can't take any particular step forward.
I have two flash drives that I got at one training session.
    Both same 4GB.
The situation applies to each of them separately.

When I connect the USB flash drive, it shows me two drives:
    - the first 400MB, with the company's advertising presentation, impossible to format
    - the second 3.4GB empty with which "you can do whatever you want"

I would like to merge it normally, format it so that there was 4GB available without unnecessary files left behind.

I tried the low level format - it is not overwhelming.

    Can anyone help?

    / edit:
and info can help: on the other side of the flash drive on the "chip" it is written in three lines below it:
    PF186 (or PFI86 - hard to say)
    SG
    1648 (or I648 - hard to say)

    Hello,
Gparted - He has never let me down.
What disc formats? It is possible that the chip is programmed in this way and only changing the firmware will help something.
    Regards

What formats? .. The 400GB one has a FAT file system, the 3.4GB one has a FAT32 file system for that matter.
    Gparted - I'll try in a moment.

The bone looks like 8 GB, but it may not be fully functional and works properly less.

At the very bottom of the program there is a link to the utility program - download it and see if it recognizes the flash drive.

Or check it out Chipsbank umptool209X

Yesterday evening I did not manage to test Gparted, unfortunately crow's face: / Tonight I hope that I will.

Unfortunately, I left the butterfly at home and the new ChipGenius will not be able to be checked until the evening.

I'll let you know when I get it.
Of course, thank you very much for your helpful suggestions.

I have already done Low Level Format and nothing but a lot of errors.

It is important that you save as much "info" about them in advance .

Before using the software (which I added earlier in the attachment), apply it also DriveCleanup :

I am sure {I have a feeling  ) that you "won't fall" * on error if you follow my last instructions.
