SmartGPS SG742 Map Update: License Key Retrieval & Purchasing New License for Poland & Europe Maps

Hello, I have a problem with navigation SmartGPS SG742, would like to update its maps and it turns out that I need a license key. The problem is that the packaging of the navigation was lost in unexplained circumstances and the navigation in "About the program" shows me only a fragment of the license number, ie 10 out of 25 characters. The maps are MapFactor and allegedly a copy of the license text can be found on the installation disc (which I do not have) or on the website www.mapfactor.com/pn15/ there is everything in English and it's really hard for me to get what's going on. Please help. Possibly where and for how much can I buy a new license for maps of Poland and Europe with a lifetime update?

How you care about a legal program with updates, install yourself, for example, AutoMapa. I am not sure if you will have lifetime updates anywhere.

I bought navigation in media expert last year on vacation, I have an invoice, serial number, redeemed warranty extension, etc. but I miss packaging: / Dad was navigating as he was going to work in Austria. And using the situation (not to assume a new topic): I have one more question. Can I upload any software (map license) to my navigation model, e.g. as you mentioned before Automapa, etc.? Automapa is expensive because the license for a year is about 200 PLN and I use navigation 3-5 times a year

After unlocking your navigation, you can upload anything you want (and it will work on Windows CE). I used to play pda modifications so I know.

Perhaps the manufacturer will help you, if you send him proof of purchase, etc., etc. However, if they resist, you can always use other software such as this trite AutoMapa. Remember that unblocking navigation and uploading another system is often equivalent to voiding the warranty. I will add to consolation that pda does not have anything to go wrong

And if you use navigation from the holidays, maybe it is better to get into the navigation of your phone? There is Yanosik on Android, and there is free Here Maps on Windows Phone that works without internet.

What kind of unlocking are you talking about? just change the path. You can install any map on WinCE and you will not lose your warranty. There are paid maps like automapa and free as openstreetmap.
With experience, I will say that yanosik navigation does not make a good map, for example of this automation.

In most new navigation you can choose the path under which the navigation program is. The gps navigation button, etc. is just a shortcut. You choose in the settings what you want to run. If you put a memory card on which will be any program on the vinyl you can fire it with this shortcut.

Japan: change the path everyone can, but not every navigation has such a function. You know about it?
