    Hello,

In the search for a built-in dishwasher, we noticed that it is possible to connect to hot water. In the comments I read that it gives a lot of energy saving, so we became interested in it. I admit that this is our first dishwasher, so I have no idea what to look for when choosing such a device ...
A question for owners and people with more knowledge in the subject - is it a useful option in an apartment with water meters (electricity vs hot water)? Or maybe there is no greater savings in this, and translates into e.g. greater failure rate?

    Thanks for every reply,
    greetings

I am also at the stage of connecting the dishwasher and I was wondering about this considerable sadness. If it is possible to connect cold and hot water, OK, if only hot, then what should you think about rinsing? For one cycle (probably depends on what) the dishwasher rinses at least several times so it would appear that it rinsed (unnecessarily?) In hot water - so it would be a waste. Did you take this into account, or was there something in the comments?

    Greetings!

And this is a very good point. Most comments only talk about matt dishes, and this (after reading) actually results from rinsing in warm water. The visual effect itself, in my opinion, is a secondary matter, more important is what you write about, namely the sense of it.
The models we were considering have one connection, i.e. ZW or CW (maybe the top shelf is different - I do not know).
In addition, from what I read, this solution is mainly recommended for "free" water heating, e.g. with solar collectors. I have not yet come across opinions as if it would apply to a block of flats ...
