    Hello

I wanted to ask about connecting the dishwasher to the existing water and sewage network. I do not have a specific dishwasher yet.

I attached a photo to the topic of the situation under the sink and, as I understand, where I can make connections.
Connecting the dishwasher - Connecting the dishwasher to the existing water and

    1. The dishwasher will be located just over 2m from the connections.
When it comes to connecting the water supply, my question is whether I can use a tee between two hoses going from the cold water valve to the battery (point 1)? Do I have to use an additional valve that already exists? I would rather not move the main valve with cold water, ie replace etc. From what I saw, the inlet hose has a different size than the battery hoses, so any tee would have to have one wider outlet? The question is whether such tees are easily available in DIY stores? I will also mention that I will have to replace the standard dishwasher inlet hose with a 2.5 m one.

    2. Another thing is the drain hose. From what I knew, it is not possible to replace the hose. in dishwashers (they are permanently attached) and I can only extend the existing one (I guess 1m will be enough) Here I am concerned about the tightness of such an extension, so how to do it best and what to use?

    3. In addition, there is still the issue of the water outlet. in the siphon. In the photo, as I understand it, it should be done in point 2, but the question is how to connect it because the diameter of this mouth in the siphon is 4 cm and the hose is diverted. probably has a smaller diameter. What should I use here?

Thank you in advance for any tips and advice regarding the above problems.
    Regards.

You need to use a separate valve on the dishwasher's supply and you install a reducing rubber ring on the drain hose.

    Hello,

The dishwasher has already been purchased, it should reach me in a few days. As for the supply valve, I understand that I have to replace this valve on the cold water supply pipe with something like this:

Connecting the dishwasher - Connecting the dishwasher to the existing water and
I'm just wondering if the diameter of the outlets will match the tap and the cold water supply pipe (the dishwasher's opening fits).

Another thing is the dishwasher hoses. There is an anti-flooding valve on this inlet, but as I wrote earlier, the "factory" ones will be too short and now I'm thinking about two options: buy an extension for this hose and screw it into the dishwasher, tab to protect the valve. was at the supply valve or buy a new 2.5m with this valve (I may have a problem finding something like that).

Now I realized another thing, namely that these hoses will be lying behind the electric oven (about 10-year-old gorenje) and the question is whether they should be secured with some thermal insulation cover? I have not yet checked how heat is behind the oven when it is turned on and hot.

    Hello,

It's been a while since my last post. Dishwasher already installed and running at full speed. In summary, the things I had to buy to be able to connect the dishwasher:
    - Arco tee in this case available in DIY stores, price ~ 64 PLN
Connecting the dishwasher - Connecting the dishwasher to the existing water and

    - inlet hose with aquastop ~ 100 PLN 1.5m available in supermarkets under the Metro group.
    - plastic nipple to connect the inlet hoses ~ 10 PLN - market with electr.
    - 1.5 m drain hose ~ 15 PLN also a market with electr.
    - rubber extension for the drain hose + two metal clamps ~ 13 PLN - market with electr. link
    - rubber reducer for attaching the drain hose to the sink siphon ~ 2 PLN - DIY store.

    Total: ~ 204 PLN.
Maybe it will be useful to someone when he will connect the dishwasher to the existing water and sewage network.

    Regards.
