Hello, the question as to the subject of how the anti-discharge protection in the stove, gas hob, etc. works. Thermocouples with gas inside, thermocouples with 1-wire connectors, 2-wire coax and 2-wire with screwed mass. I am asking because I have recently fallen amica with the problem of not keeping the flame, after replacing the two-wire coax thermocouple the problem has not disappeared, replacing the valve did nothing and I did not try the fi6 washer, they were already factory installed. I am asking for professional help.

    Hello
When the thermocouple is heated by a flame, it creates a voltage that powers the coil in the valve. The purpose of this coil is to hold the lever in a certain position. When you put out the flame, the coil releases the lever and the gas supply is shut off. All thermocouples work the same regardless of the number of wires. They can be single-circuit, then the whole stove is mass. Two-wire then one wire is ground.

Write with what thermocouple you have a problem and in what oven.

Thanks for explaining the topic, I don't know yet how this voltage appears on the valve coil, maybe it is converted from the heat of the flame into electricity? Strange but maybe it is, the cooker is not a model I have because the customer gave up the repair, the thermocouple in it is a two-wire coax type, as I wrote a new thermocouple and a new valve and the pipa still does not hold the flame.
