    Hello. I have a problem with the VIS visibility driver. I have to replace it. I would like to know, if I buy another one with numbers similar to mine, will I have to reprogram it or not? Will there be any errors on the display if I do not reprogram it?

    If the driver number is different from the original SDP3, it asks if you want to assign it.
    I had a car that had the driver replaced and it was ok, also before assigning it. But I don't know if it will always be like that.

    It will work, but I think that assigning the driver is not known at what cost and problem, nowadays probably every other workshop dealing with repairing trucks has SDP3. When buying, try to get the part number and check if it is dedicated to yours. Scania has mixed up a bit with these drivers VIS, it was mainly about the output power for additional connections, you can check it all in Scania Multi.

    I replaced the driver with another used one, but the driver had to be assigned by SDP3 because the coordinator error was showing. After assigning everything was as it should be
